Skin ulcers can result from various factors, including poor circulation, pressure, or infections. While antibiotics are essential for managing infections, it's crucial to have a dermatologist evaluate your aunt's situation, especially since she has stopped taking them. Encourage her to seek medical advice for proper assessment and treatment options, which may include wound care, pain management, and possibly physical therapy to improve mobility.

Female | 20
Hair fall can happen due to many reasons, like stress, poor diet, or not taking care of your hair. It’s good to eat healthy foods and be gentle on your hair when washing it. Consider using a mild shampoo and avoiding tight hairstyles that may cause breakage. If the hair fall doesn't stop, visit a dermatologist for treatment.

Mam I am getting tiny little bumps on my cheek area
Female | 07/07/2004
These small bumps on your cheeks may be acne. Acne develops when the hair follicles are clogged with oil and dead skin. It is commonly seen during puberty and when hormonal changes occur. You should wash your face gently with a mild cleanser and let the bumps be. If it bothers you so much, it is recommended that you see a dermatologist for further advice.

Male | 17
You are probably fighting a fungus that just won’t go away. Fungi are caused by very tiny living things that like warm and wet spots. Symptoms can include itching, redness, and sometimes a rash. Since what you have tried so far has not worked, it is important to see a dermatologist. They might give you stronger drugs or recommend other treatments to help get rid of the infection.

I have a red whelp on my neck.
Female | 59
A red whelp appears on your neck. Potentially a harmless skin irritation could be from rubbing against something rough. Or, perhaps caused by reacting to a specific product. Sometimes bites from insects or allergies form whelps too. First, try using a cool compress and mild hydrocortisone cream. Avoid scratching, as that may worsen it. However, if symptoms persist beyond a few days, see a dermatologist.

Legs pale on waking but colour restored after 5 minutes
Female | 59
Getting pale legs when you wake up is a sign of circulation in your legs. This change happens during sleep which can cause the blood vessel (temporarily) to narrow or decrease in the blood flow for a limited time. This is mainly the result of sleeping positions or a fall in blood pressure. When the body is moved, the blood flow to the veins gradually improves, and the color of the limb gets back to normal. Basically, this is not something that you need to worry about. Nevertheless, if you notice other signs such as a hurting leg, swelling, or frequently changing color it is a good idea to ask a dermatologist's advice.

Can I take glutathione for skin whitening
Male | 15
Glutathione isn't FDA approved for skin lightening.. Limited research available.. Possible side effects.. Discuss with doctor.. it is IMPORTANT to note that the use of glutathione for skin lightening comes with SERIOUS risks.. While it is MARKETED as a "natural" alternative to traditional skin lightening treatments, there is NO conclusive evidence to support its effectiveness.. The FDA HAS NOT approved glutathione for skin lightening purposes, which means that its safety and effectiveness have NOT been thoroughly tested

Currently I am having fungal infection in thighs, can I do exercises for tomorrow for weight loss current weight is 65 kg with age 17
Male | 17
Fungal infections in areas like your thighs cause redness, itchiness, and rashes. These infections thrive in warm, moist environments. It's crucial to avoid exercises until the infection clears up. Sweat can worsen the condition. To treat it effectively, keep the affected area clean and dry. Use an antifungal cream as directed. Wear loose, breathable clothing. Once the infection resolves completely, you can resume exercises for weight loss without concerns.

I am facing hair loss problem since 5 years 6 months ago I consulted a dermatologist after tests I have low iron and d3 levels I used tablets 2 months and I used minoxidil bit I faced un wanted ahir so i stopped that topical minoxidil my hair was so long but now it almost damaged
Female | 19
The hair loss you are going through is because you have low ferritin and low vitamin D levels in your body. This will also lead to your hair becoming fragile and eventually falling out. Whenever you try stopping treatments suddenly, you will face more hair loss. Be patient and at the same time try to take your iron and D3 supplements regularly. Talk to the dermatologist again for his contribution. It takes time for the hair to grow, so try to remain calm and give your hair a chance.

My toddler has red patches coming and going on his skin. He has had no temp and is completely himself. He’s not bothered by the marks on his skin. They start on his ear and then appear randomly over the body. Mainly arms and upper legs/bum
Male | 2
You should involve a pediatric dermatologist to have the red patches on your toddler’s skin assessed. The symptoms of this skin condition could be a variety of those seen in eczema or an allergic reaction. A dermatologist can give an accurate diagnosis and advise the correct treatment strategy.

Iam 20 year female. I have a burned scar on my cheeks. Is there any remedy to cure and leave the scar as soon as possible?
Female | 20
Injuries can be the result of heat, chemicals, or sun exposure. Until then, keep the area clean and do not scratch it. The application of aloe vera or honey can help to relieve the scar. With time, it will become less noticeable, but be careful as scars are slow to vanish. It is not enough to wear a hat in the sun, make sure you also avoid getting darkened by it.

Hii I am having pain on nose alae part and it's swollen
Female | 17
Keeping it clean and not touching it will help to prevent a more serious irritation. To reduce swelling and relieve pain, you can use a cold compress. Drink plenty of water and take over-the-counter pain relievers to relieve your symptoms. Nevertheless, I advise visiting a dermatologist for proper treatments since symptoms may differ.

I have dry patches on elbow and some on breast and legs
Female | 30
You might have eczema - a skin condition that manifests as dry itchy patches. Eczema can be set off by things like rough soaps, allergies, or stress. In this case, use gentle, non-scented soap, moisturize your skin regularly, and stop scratching the dried patches. If it worsens or doesn't improve, it's a good idea to see a dermatologist.

I am 28 yo female and recently got sclerotherapy done on both legs (last Wednesday so it has been over a week). My veins have gotten worse, they are purple and more visible and quite sensitive to the touch. There is no bruising. My dermatologist said I may have had an allergic reaction to the treatment and suggested I get antihistamines. Will the veins subside?
Female | 28
Veins do appear more visible naturally after sclerotherapy treatment, but they usually improve over time as the body reabsorbs the treated veins. Its best to discuss your concerns with your dermatologist and follow the recommended treatment. Avoid prolonged sitting or standing and to wear compression stockings as recommended to decrease swelling and heal faster.
