Should I Use Prep for HIV Transmission Risk?

Hello My partner has been diagnosed with HIV since 2yrs and after a couple of months after getting on the ART treatment he had an undetectable viral load since. I would like to know if there is any risk of transmission, should be get on PREP and if the use of condom is necessary?

Answered on 17th Feb '25

It's great to hear that your partner has been on ART and maintains an undetectable viral load, which significantly reduces the risk of transmission. Generally, if the viral load is consistently undetectable, the risk is extremely low, and PrEP may not be necessary. However, using condoms is still a recommended practice for additional protection against other sexually transmitted infections. I encourage you to consult with your sexologist to discuss your specific situation and to make informed decisions tailored to your needs.

I was diagnosed with chlamydia so I did the treatment for a week. When can I resume sexual activity?

Female | 24

After finishing the week-long treatment, it is still necessary to wait 7 days before you have sex again. The purpose of this is to let the antibiotics work properly and make sure the infection is gone. Besides, make sure your partner is also tested and treated if necessary to stop reinfection.

Is there possibility of pregnancy if the penis size is small during erection and sexual intercourse

Male | 36

A small penis during an erection does not mean that pregnancy is impossible. Fertility is not related to size. Blocked canals and hormonal imbalances can cause smaller genitals. Consult a specialist for advice and support. Remember, concerns about size are common but often based on misconceptions.

Female | 26

Kya seeds of blend powder say like ( Pumpkin seeds white sesame seed, flexseeds, chiaseed , sunflower seeds, mushroom or kidney beans) say after masturbate body repair of harmon balance ho sakty?? Or night fall cure ho sakta kitny months ma? Or sath 30 min ki walk krny say? Kya yeh vagina ka liye bhi axhy ha?

Female | 23

Masturbation aur night fall se body ka hormonal balance kuchh waqt mein bhale hi change ho sakta hai, lekin yeh natural processes hain. Aapki diet mein pumpkin seeds, sesame, flaxseeds, chia seeds, aur sunflower seeds shamil karne se overall health ko faida milega. Regular 30-minut ki walk se bhi mood aur energy levels improve ho sakte hain. Yeh sab aapki overall well-being, including vaginal health, ke liye beneficial hai. Sahi guidance ke liye, kisi healthcare professional se consult karna zaroori hai. Woh aapke specific concerns ko samjhenge aur best solutions provide karenge.

I had taken Unwanted kit on January 12,still not periods yet. Before 3 days means February 2 I had unprotected sex, should I take any emergency contrapill for February 2 unprotected sex.?

Female | 24

It's understandable to feel concerned about your situation. If you had unprotected intercourse on February 2, taking emergency contraceptive pills is an option to prevent potential pregnancy, especially if it's within 72 hours. Since you haven't had your period after using the Unwanted kit on January 12, it’s also wise to monitor for symptoms of pregnancy. However, I strongly encourage you to consult with a healthcare provider, as they can offer personalized advice and ensure your health and well-being are prioritized. Remember, you're not alone, and professional guidance is available to support you.

Female | 23

It seems like you might be experiencing what’s commonly known as “sexual dysfunction,” where a person has difficulty feeling any sexual sensations. Stress, anxiety, or physical conditions can all cause this. You ought to speak honestly with your partner and think about getting professional help. They’ll be able to determine the cause and offer treatment options such as counseling or medication.
