Should I Use Prep for HIV Transmission Risk?
Hello My partner has been diagnosed with HIV since 2yrs and after a couple of months after getting on the ART treatment he had an undetectable viral load since. I would like to know if there is any risk of transmission, should be get on PREP and if the use of condom is necessary?

It's great to hear that your partner has been on ART and maintains an undetectable viral load, which significantly reduces the risk of transmission. Generally, if the viral load is consistently undetectable, the risk is extremely low, and PrEP may not be necessary. However, using condoms is still a recommended practice for additional protection against other sexually transmitted infections. I encourage you to consult with your sexologist to discuss your specific situation and to make informed decisions tailored to your needs.

Is it normal for my foreskin to stay retracted, my dorsal nerve to appear thick, my penis slightly leftward curve, and for me to ejaculate in 1 minute? I used to watch porn and masturbate frequently but have now reduced it to once a week.
Male | 25
It's not uncommon for there to be variations in anatomy and function. A retracted foreskin may be a natural variation or indicate tightness. The thickness of the nerve could arise from stimulation or increased sensitivity. A slight curve is generally normal for many men. Regarding quick ejaculation, this can sometimes occur due to anxiety or arousal levels. Reducing sexual activity can help. I encourage you to practice relaxation techniques. If these concerns persist or impact your quality of life, please consult a sexologist for a thorough evaluation and personalized advice.

I was diagnosed with chlamydia so I did the treatment for a week. When can I resume sexual activity?
Female | 24
After finishing the week-long treatment, it is still necessary to wait 7 days before you have sex again. The purpose of this is to let the antibiotics work properly and make sure the infection is gone. Besides, make sure your partner is also tested and treated if necessary to stop reinfection.

Male | 21
Premature Ejaculation is a condition when a man loses his control of release in an unwanted way. It may cause tension for both partners. The typical symptoms include premature ejaculation, usually within a minute. It could be the aftermath of anxiety, stress, or some particular medical conditions. Behavioral therapy, counseling, and medicines are the treatments. Visit a sexologist for the right advice and treatment.

Hi, I have been facing some issues in my sex life. We had couple of difficult experiences while having penetration previously, so we took a break from it and switched to oral and other forms of stimulation and we were enjoying it as well. But now we wanted do penetrative sex again, and when we tried we failed, as I have got pretty scared and meanwhile he lost his erection and wasn't completely hard on, so the experience wasn't good. How can we fix this? Also, I feel even if we stop being fearful about it, we are sometimes unable to find the hole, sometimes the vagina gets too dry to allow the penis in, and then it gets frustrating. Also, being on top is something that I am absolutely scared of, first I am not sure if my posture is correct to take it ahead, second I am fumble a lot to find the hole, even tho I know where it is exactly. My vagina expands a lot when fingering happens, even with three fingers, but I assume there is some issue with penis penetration. Please help.
Female | 28
It’s common to feel anxious about penetration after difficult experiences. Issues like dryness can affect comfort, so consider using a water-based lubricant to help. Gradual reintroduction to penetration in a relaxed setting may build confidence. Practicing different positions, including on top, can help you feel more in control; communication with your partner is key. If anxiety persists, it might be beneficial to speak with a sexologist who can offer personalized strategies and support tailored to your needs.

I am married for 10 years. I can't give more than 1 minute to my wife. I masturbate a lot before marriage and do a lot of drugs and take a lot of sex stimulants. But the problem is only getting worse.
Male | 31
It sounds like you are dealing with some sexual performance and intimacy problems, brought about by stress, among other things, even the use of psychoactive substances, and the possible reliance on prescribed medication. These effects may result in a decreased ability to establish long-lasting relationships. You should talk frankly with your partner about your feelings and issues. Decrease drug utilization and getting a personal consultation
might be suitable approaches. A sexologist might give you some helpful treatment options or it could be some other type of therapy that could work.

Is there possibility of pregnancy if the penis size is small during erection and sexual intercourse
Male | 36
A small penis during an erection does not mean that pregnancy is impossible. Fertility is not related to size. Blocked canals and hormonal imbalances can cause smaller genitals. Consult a specialist for advice and support. Remember, concerns about size are common but often based on misconceptions.

Problem in private part what is good for me
Male | 18
Experiencing discomfort in the genital area can arise from several factors, such as infections, irritation, or skin conditions. Common symptoms might include itching, burning, or unusual discharge. To alleviate discomfort, maintain good hygiene, wear breathable clothing, and avoid irritants like harsh soaps. Over-the-counter remedies may help, but it’s essential to understand the underlying cause. I highly recommend consulting a sexologist for an accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment. Remember, seeking help is a proactive step towards better health.

Hi doctor, i am adil 34 years old, from oman, i have done something i am really afraid, i went to prostitute, once we laid on bed she started touch my penis and rubbing smoothly, after that she came close to me her back was touched my chest and my penis touch multiple time from side ( not sure if tip touched vagina) and she was already wet ejaculated, then i hugged her , and sucked her breast, not felt any fluid, there was no intercourse no vaginal or anal sex, when i came back home after couple of hours i felt something wrong, and my penis tip started burning mild, then after some days irritation and burning more also transparent discharge, i went to the doctor and he tested, culture urine and cbc and crp, they found a bacteria and inflection of prostate and urine, but he said its in intial stage, in reports not mentioned what time of bacteria present no bacteria name was there, he. Gave me cefim 400 and ural powder for 10 days , pain reduced and discharge as well but still there is burning which goes and come back sometimes mild, my question is am i in risk of hiv?
Male | 34
According to your description, you may be suffering from slight irritation, probably caused by a urinary tract infection or prostatitis- all of which are being treated by your doctor. The possibility of HIV transmission from such practices is quite low. Nonetheless, the most important measure is regular STI examination to ensure that you are physically well and confident in your peace of mind. In case symptoms remain, it is a priority to set up an appointment with your healthcare provider or a sexologist who will recommend the right treatment. Being in communication with an expert will help alleviate your anxieties more totally.

Female | 23
Agar aapko sexual thoughts ke baad vaginal discharge zyada mehsoos hota hai, toh yeh ek normal physiological response hai. Yeh typically sexual arousal se hota hai. Aise thoughts se hormonal imbalance nahi hota, aur shadi ke baad sexual life par koi bura asar nahi hoga. Agar yeh feelings haftay mein paanch baar aati hain, toh bhi zyada chinta ki baat nahi. Lekin agar aapko discomfort ya unusual symptoms mehsoos hote hain, toh ek sexologist se mashwara lena behtar hoga.

Male | 19
Your penis having difficulty growing, bending, and being the same size over the last 6 months is important for you to know that it might be a condition called Peyronie's disease. It's normal for penises to vary in size and shape, but if you notice a significant change, it's best to talk to a urologist who can provide you with accurate information and guidance on the way forward.

It sounds like you're dealing with hypersensitivity of the glans before ejaculation, which can cause discomfort and irritation. Building tolerance through exercises like boxing or other sports may help reduce sensitivity and anxiety. Additionally, practicing breathing exercises can be beneficial.
