Abortion pill side effects: Stomach pain help
Stomach pain after taking abortion pills
Social Obstetrics And Gynecologist
Answered on 30th July '24
Stomach aches can happen after taking abortion pills. The medications cause cramping to remove pregnancy tissue. This pain is like period cramps, from mild to severe. Put a heating pad on your lower belly to feel better. Drink warm drinks. Take over-the-counter pain meds like ibuprofen. But if the pain is bad or won't go away, contact your gynecologist.

Women who are pregnant make a hormone called hCG. This is the reason why pregnancy tests can find it. Some drugs can also cause a light second line on the test. If your gynecologist says you can't get pregnant, trust them.

My mother have a urine problem, have to pee Avery hour.we got some tests done and we also got her thyroid checked? The doctor has said that the Uterus has shifted so there is a 1% chance of getting the operation done, so start the medicine...so please tell me what to do. I can send you reports
Female | 47
The uterus moving may press her bladder, causing this. The gynecologist gave medicine as surgery is a small chance. She should take the prescribed drugs as instructed. This may ease symptoms. Follow treatment fully. Keep updating the doctor about any changes or worries.

my hymen broke and I bled for 2-3 days then my periods started on 25 Jan they went on till 6 Feb. Then they started again on 21feb and are going on still. I did take one Ipill on 26 Feb. My abdomen and vagina hurt a lot
Female | 18
Long periods of pain are concerning. Your bleeding issue could stem from a broken hymen. But constant flow isn't normal. The emergency pill may disrupt your cycle too. Abdominal and vaginal aches suggest infection or hormonal imbalance. You must visit a gynecologist. They'll examine you, determine the underlying cause, and provide appropriate treatment.

Last month my period date was 25feb this month till now I have not period and my pregnancy test is also negative.
Female | 24
Your period being late is an ordinary occurrence! There are times when stress and routine changes disrupt the cycle. If your pregnancy test turns negative without other symptoms, don't fret - it's likely normal. Wait a couple more weeks; if your period still hasn't arrived by then, consulting a gynecologist might be wise.

I have a yeast infection and have been treating it with strovid at first and now ketocon azole pill and cream but the discharge is not stopping.. What more can I do?
Female | 24
It is necessary to take into account the fact that yeast infections don’t react to the therapies in the same way for all people. Although Strovid and ketoconazole are the most popular ways to treat yeast infections, these treatments may not be for everyone. I would suggest seeking a reliable gynecologist or dermatologist.

Pregnancy all sentoms but periods is regular
Female | 19
You might be pregnant, but it's also possible that the menstrual cycle continues to be typical. Pregnancy generally comes with common signs such as tiredness, nausea, and breast tenderness. Women can sometimes have periods during early pregnancy. A pregnancy test is crucial for confirmation. Consult a gynecologist for more guidance if you suspect you might be expecting a child.

My period date is 17 but I want delay period due to some function
Female | 26
Periods are accompanied by symptoms such as cramps, mood swings, and tiredness. Stress and hormonal imbalance can be the reason for the irregular menstrual cycle. You can postpone your period by taking hormonal birth control pills prescribed by your gynecologist. They will help to maintain your menstrual cycle in the desired way and to push the period for a specific day.

Male | 26
It’s completely normal to feel anxious about this. When you don't get your period after having unprotected sex, it’s usually a cause for concern. Stress, hormonal imbalance, or pregnancy could be delaying it. Also, the fact that you took an emergency contraceptive might mess up your cycle. Just give it some time and you may see your menstrual flow soon. However, if there are other unusual symptoms or the delay persists consider taking a pregnancy test.

My wife is 9 months pregnant and her sugar level is high. So I need some suggestions and how she can have a normal baby in this situation or not. The last baby is already born by cesarean.
Female | 28
If your wife's sugar levels are high during pregnancy, it's important to consult a specialist, such as an obstetrician or a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. They can provide personalized advice and monitoring to help manage her condition and ensure the best possible outcome for both her and the baby.

Fallopian tube blocked and galls stone
Female | 25
Blocked fallopian tubes and gallbladder stones can lead to issues like abdominal pain or trouble getting pregnant. Gallstones often cause discomfort after eating fatty foods. Tube blockages may result from infections or past surgeries, while gallstones form due to excess cholesterol. Surgery can treat both conditions. It’s best to consult a gynecologist for proper advice.

I am having vaginal itching with unusual discharge since last month.
Female | 22
It seems that you have vaginal itching as well as an unusual discharge which can be brought about by several different things. This could mean there is a yeast infection where too much yeast is present in your body. Bacterial infections are other common causes or even sexually transmitted diseases (STIs). You should go for a checkup with a gynecologist who will give the right diagnosis and prescribe proper treatment methods for you.

My period was 1 day late as at yesterday and I took postinor 2 that same yesterday and I haven't even seen any spotting till now
Female | 30
Postinor 2 may cause a delay in your menstrual cycle but it is not a guaranteed method of contraception. Talk to your gynecologist for further tests to determine the cause of the delay and rule out any underlying medical conditions.

I am a pcod patient.my periods is scanty, and have 2 cysts in left ovary.during periods face a lot of pain.
Female | 22
One should seek consultation from a gynecologist who specializes in PCOD. Short and painful periods are typical cases of PCOD. The presence of cysts in the left ovary necessitates medical attention as well. The doctor may recommend treatment via medication or surgery based on the level of severity. Timely medical help should be sought to prevent any complications.

Female | 24
Taking the 72 pill after unprotected sex was wise. It prevents pregnancy effectively. However, it may disrupt your cycle, delaying your period. Stress, hormones, or other factors could affect menstruation too. If your period doesn't arrive soon, take another pregnancy test or consult a gynecologist for advice.

It is not rare for a woman’s menstrual cycle to be quite a few days longer one month than the other. On the other hand, if you notice any irregular changes in your period dates, it would be wise of you to get an appointment with your gynecologist.

Hello doc, I want to ask I have greenish discharge a little bit of bad smell but no itching or swollen
Female | 27
You may have a vaginal infection. The signs of infection such as greenish discharge and bad smell can be quite evident. Address this even if there is no feeling of itchiness or swelling. It may be the result of a bacterial imbalance or other reasons. Drinking plenty of water, choosing cotton underwear, and not using scented products might help. However, it is preferable to consult a gynecologist for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
