A troublesome ear infection is what you're saying. The pus and clear goop coming out, the hard lumps, and the pain, are examples of a serious issue. The infection could have gone into your ear cartilage and therefore caused the swelling and rawness. A visit to a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis is a must as some antibiotics may be prescribed to kill the infection and prevent further complications.

I'm 25 years old and have developed a rash on my ankle. It started really small and has increased massively since returning from holiday. It's extremely itchy and uncomfortable.
Male | 25
You have developed contact dermatitis. This is a condition caused when the skin reacts to something it has touched, such as a new lotion or plant. The affected area usually becomes red, swollen, and itchy with small blisters or hives. Try to remember if there was anything different that you came into contact with before the rash appeared. To relieve itching apply cold compresses and mild lotions. If there are no changes after several days, see a dermatologist for help.

I have a really bad rash on my butt that been there for 6 months or more it itches really bad and hurts
Male | 48
Rashes in that area can be caused by different things like clothing irritation, permeation, or a skin condition. The inflammation you are experiencing might be the reason for the itching and pain you feel. To maintain a healthy regime, keep the area clean and dry, wear non-restrictive clothing, and apply a gentle cream or ointment to calm the skin. However, if it doesn't improve, you should see a dermatologist for more advice.

I think I have herpes what should I do
Male | 22
Herpes is a common virus. It causes itchy, painful sores. These blisters often appear around your mouth or private parts. You can get it through close contact. Herpes may seem bad, but doctors can give you antiviral medicine. Using protection during sex helps prevent spreading it too. Good hygiene habits are also key.

I had my hair waxed a few days ago and now my hair is working.
Male | 42
You might have ingrown hairs from waxing. Ingrown hairs grow into the skin, not out. They can make skin red, swollen, and sore. To help, wear loose clothes. Use warm washcloths on the area. Gently scrub off dead skin cells. Don't pick up ingrown hairs. It could cause infection. If it doesn't get better or gets worse, talk to a dermatologist.

how to cure my body odor. l have tried everything and nothing seems to work. such as different soaps, exfoliating gloves, apple vinegar vinegar
Female | 15
Bacteria on the skin mix with sweat, causing odor. Certain foods can worsen body odor. Using aluminum deodorant helps reduce sweating. Shower daily and wear breathable fabrics. Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet. Body odor isn't a complex issue—keeping clean is key. However, since bacteria are always present, it's important to combat odor daily.

I am 21 years old and I had dark spot on my face so I used this cream light up which now peeled up my skin and I don’t know what else I can do now
Male | 21
The dark spot on your face might have been due to excessive melanin, which the cream is reported to be a lightener of. Nevertheless, it appears it was too strong for your skin to bear. At that moment, first of all, it is critical to discontinue the use of the cream. To renew your skin, you can rub a mild cream and shield your skin from the sun. Allow your skin to rest for a while before introducing new products again. Should the peeling go on or other worrying symptoms appear, it will be best for you to get counseling from a dermatologist.

Wrinkles is due to shrinking of skin with collagen loss. First is improve life style, eat proteins, sleep well, drink water and eat. Lots of antioxidant foods without fail each day, reduce smoking , sugar intake and carbs. Now come to local application of sunscreen, and Vitamin C serum in morning, Retinol and peptide serum at night. Next as soon as u are 35, start collagen building treatments as Mesopen, PRP, Q switch, HIFU or peels so that u stimulate collagen and look younger. Take collagen pills to help tighten skin. My whole body has been itchy for about a week now. Feet, legs, stomach, back, chest, arms, hands, and head have been so itchy. What’s wrong?
Female | 18
It seems like you could have dermatitis, a condition that can make your skin extremely itchy all over. Dry skin, allergies, or irritation from some products may be the cause of this. To help yourself feel better, try using mild lotion not scratching yourself too much and wearing loose clothes. Should this not work for you it would be good to see a dermatologist who will give you more advice on what to do about it.

Female | 23
If its only acne marks, continuing your acne treatment with facewash and gels will improve it. Some topical agents also helps in removing the pigmentation and marks of the acne. Even Salic acid 20% gel at night on spots is helpful. Glyco 6 or Glycolic acid 6% is recommended for application on the face. Acne compatible sunscreen is also helpful. Chemical Peeling with glycolic acid or salicylic acid is useful

I am 27 years old and I have yeast infection that comes every time and I don’t what to use again
Female | 27
Yeast infections are normally triggered by a kind of fungus. They tend to occur more frequently when the body’s balance has been disturbed. Symptoms may include itching, irritation, and abnormal discharge. To treat it, you can use over-the-counter antifungal creams or suppositories. Wearing cotton underwear is advisable too, as well as staying away from tight clothing. If it keeps coming back, consult with a gynecologist for further guidance.

Hello doc..I have painful rashes all over my body that later turn into scaly patches. What is my diagnosis
Female | 26
These rashes could mean psoriasis, a condition where immune issues make skin cells grow too fast. It causes red, itchy patches to turn scaly. To treat psoriasis, doctors may prescribe medicines and creams. These help ease symptoms and slow cell growth. But see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and the right care.

I have tiny dots on my testicles
Male | 17
Noticing small spots or bumps on your scrotum can be concerning, but there’s no need to panic. These might be harmless. They could be little blood vessels called angiokeratomas lying close to the skin's surface. Sometimes there’s no need to do anything about these spots. You should see a dermatologist if they are itchy, painful, or annoying.

I am a 31 year old female and I have 2 white bumps down there in my area. They don't hurt and they are not itchy. They are tender to touch sometimes but that's about it. Could it possibly be razor bumps or pimples
Female | 31
I think you may have ingrown hairs there these are both two small white spots. This occurs following shaving when the hair grows back into the skin. The area may be tender when touched. Until they clear up, don’t shave over them, and try gently exfoliating your skin. If this doesn’t work or if you’re worried about anything else then please see a dermatologist.

Hi. I've a question regarding my niece's skin problem. She is a 7-years old. She has developed red patches of skin on her cheek, chin and around nose. The affected area of her cheek is very dry. I brought her to a doctor who prescribed two creams, mezoderm(betamethasone) and gentamicin-akos which made things far worse. Then at the pharmacy I was advised to use ftorokart(also a cream with triamcinolone) for my niece's face. After a few uses of the cream, I've seen some noticeable improvement in her skin condition since she started to use it. It took the redness out of her nose. But she still has rash and blisters on her face. I took photos of her face in case it might be helpful for you to identify the reason for her skin condition. Here are the photos of hers: https://ibb.co/q9t8bSL https://ibb.co/Q8rqcr1 https://ibb.co/JppswZw https://ibb.co/Hd9LPkZ Would you mind helping us to identify what caused this skin condition?
Female | 7
According to the symptoms and signs described, it appears to be a case of atopic dermatitis which is common among children of the mentioned age. It is a condition where the skin barrier is disturbed and is extremely sensitive to external environmental triggers like cold and dry weather, dust etc. It presents as red dry itchy patches on cheeks, hands and legs sometimes whole body. The above mentioned creams contain topical corticosteroids which are to be used with a great caution under the supervision of Dermatologist. Good barrier repairing creams including emollients with squalene, ceramides etc can help reviving the skin barrier. Steroid sparing drugs can be prescribed to manage the rash. Please consult a qualified Dermatologist and do not use topical corticosteroids without doctor’s advice as it may cause many adverse effects.

Greetings sir my daughter is four years old she was some what black with your suggestion I want her for skin whitening treatment which one is permanent for her chemical peel or Laser treatment please suggest me sir
Female | 4
Neither of these treatments is recommended for children under the age of 18. Chemical peels and laser treatments are not permanent skin whitening treatments. These treatments can help to reduce the appearance of dark spots, but they will not permanently lighten the skin.
