Experiencing Full Body Itching for 15 Days?

Full body itching last 15days

Answered on 18th Jan '25

Itching over the entire body for an extended period can stem from various factors, including allergies, skin conditions, or even certain medications. In some cases, dryness or reactions to soaps and detergents might also play a role. To alleviate discomfort, consider using gentle moisturizers, taking lukewarm baths, and avoiding irritants. However, persistent or worsening symptoms warrant a consultation with a dermatologist. They can provide a thorough evaluation and tailored treatment plan.

Hi Doctor, I'm experiencing a recurring skin issue. It starts as a small red dot, which then develops into a sore, causing skin damage. The sore heals after 2-3 weeks, but instead of resolving, the condition spreads to a new location just above the previous sore.

Male | 24

You may have a skin condition known as impetigo. It is usually first seen as a red point and develops into an ulcer thereafter ten days or so, and is finally healed. It may also spread to other skin areas on the body. This is the result of bacteria entering the body through small cuts or sores. In a clean environment, and with the help of antibiotic ointment, the skin can be healed.

Kya koi medicine of pimples ko swallow ki bejaye agr chewing kr kay khya jye toh benefit comp miltay?

Female | 22

When treating pimples, it's better to avoid chewing medicines that are meant to be swallowed. Chewing them may reduce their effectiveness, as the medicine works best when taken as directed. Topical treatments prescribed by a doctor may work better. Keep your face clean, avoid touching or picking at pimples, and follow a healthy skincare routine for the best results.

My mother has developed red patches on skin all over her body. Initially it occurs as a small red patch and then it widens and spreads . These red patches have occurred on her neck, breast, tummy, legs, head, back, elbow , everywhere. She has also developed cuts on her finger. It itches and burns very much. What is the diagnosis of this skin disease?

Female | 55

Your description of the symptoms leads me to believe that your mother has a skin condition called eczema. Eczema is characterized by the appearance of red, itchy patches on the skin. It can be caused or aggravated by certain substances or environmental factors. To alleviate the symptoms, it is necessary to maintain the skin's hydration and avoid irritants. Using mild soaps and wearing comfortable, breathable clothes can also be helpful.

Small Nodule on eyebrow

Male | 3 month

A tiny bump near your eyebrow is probably a cyst or a skin tag, which are common and not usually a concern. They can form from a clogged oil gland or a blocked hair follicle. If it’s not bothering you, it’s okay to leave it alone. However, if it grows bigger, changes color, or starts hurting, it’s best to have it checked out.

Hello Doctor, I am a 30 year old female and I recently noticed open pores on my face, what should I do? My daily routine is: use himalaya neem face wash, then moisturize skin and I happen to have oily & dull skin. Can you pls suggest what should I do? Thank you!

Female | 30

I would like to start by recommending a daily skincare routine for the problems you are facing. Start with Oil control cleansers with AHA's or BHA's to clear the oil and dirt from your face 2-4 times a day. Use a Vit C serum or day serum in the morning if you are at home and you can add sunscreen on top if you are going to go out and will get exposed to sunlight. Evening, after wash use a toner to neutralize and calm your skin. Before bed, use a coat of moisturizer and additional retinol-based anti-aging serum to finish. If it's a major concern, please contact a dermatologist.

From last month I'm suffering with full hair fall the hair is falling from the tip and hair fall is very high

Female | 21

It seems as if you may be suffering from severe hair loss. It may as well have been caused by many factors like stress, hormonal changes or a disease. I would suggest visiting a dermatologist, who could examine your scalp and diagnose the reason for hair loss. They can then develop a customized treatment plan for you
