Ultrasound Assisted Liposculpture (UAL) is performed with a cannula that emits ultrasound, which in turn decomposes the fat cells and liquefies them.
Thereafter, the melted fats are removed with a suction.
UAL is best utilized in tumescent liposculpture for patients who require precise body contouring.
Advantages:
Requires tiny incisions on the skin.
Blood vessels, muscle cells, and other bodily structures remain intact.
UAL is useful for areas affected with scar tissues, large areas, or dense fat, and additionally for fine body reshaping in skinny patients.
It is also effective in treating gynecomastia.
