24 to 48 hours after getting lip fillers, the use of a straw should be avoided as this can cause movement and pressure on that part. Straws could potentially cause larger suction than required, which might result in irritation or relocation of the filler. Focus on gentle care, including avoiding vigorous lip movements during the first recovery period. After the initial road to recovery, you can reintroduce using a straw gradually but it is always suggested that when taking up your treatment injection into account and consider how far through its healing process. Adhere to all post-treatment guidelines given by your health care specialist in order to achieve the best results and safety.

Which laser treatment to opt for curing Pilonidal Sinus?

Diode laser treatment is required for Pilonidal Sinus. Actually Pilonidal Sinus can be treated surgically only. The cavity needs to be removed surgically otherwise the problem will reoccur. After the surgery has been done a diode laser will clear the hairs over the back portion and that will result into complete remission

Blocked nose 6 months after rhinoplasty, what to do?

Female | 35

Experiencing a blocked nose six months after rhinoplasty can be normal in some cases, but it's essential to consult with your surgeon for a proper evaluation. While the majority of swelling and healing typically occur within the first few months following rhinoplasty, it's possible for residual swelling to persist for a longer period, especially in the nasal passages. Residual swelling, Scar tissue formation, Nasal valve collapse can be the reasons for blocked nose at this stage.

If you're experiencing a blocked nose six months after rhinoplasty, it's important to consult with your surgeon or an otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat specialist) to determine the cause and appropriate course of action. They will be able to evaluate your situation and provide you with personalized advice based on your specific circumstances. In the meantime, here are a few general suggestions that may help:

  1. Follow post-operative instructions: Review the instructions provided by your surgeon after the rhinoplasty and ensure that you are following them correctly. This may include nasal sprays, saline rinses, or other prescribed medications.
  2. Nasal irrigation: Consider using a saline nasal rinse or a neti pot to help flush out any mucus or debris from your nasal passages. This can help alleviate congestion and keep your nose clear.
  3. Humidify the air: Dry air can exacerbate nasal congestion. Using a humidifier in your living space or bedroom can add moisture to the air, reducing the likelihood of a blocked nose.
  4. Avoid irritants: Minimize exposure to irritants such as cigarette smoke, strong chemical odors, and pollutants. These can further inflame the nasal passages and contribute to congestion.
  5. Elevate your head during sleep: Keeping your head elevated while sleeping can help reduce nasal congestion. Try using an extra pillow or consider using a wedge pillow specifically designed for this purpose.
  6. Avoid blowing your nose forcefully: Blowing your nose too hard can potentially disrupt the healing process and worsen congestion. Instead, gently blow your nose with one nostril at a time or use a saline nasal spray to help clear your nasal passages.

Remember, these are general suggestions, and it's essential to seek professional medical advice for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

I have facial hair growth over both chin and upper lip. Its because of hormonal imbalance my DHEA level is 180. So may i know if laser hair removal will help get rid of this facial hair growth.

Female | 29

Laser hair removal can be an effective way to remove unwanted facial hair. But it is important to discuss any hormonal imbalances with your doctor before beginning a treatment plan. Laser hair removal may not be the best option for you if your DHEA level is high as this could lead to an increased risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest other options such as oral medications, topical creams, or electrolysis.

Using butt enlargement or weight gain pills at ages 16 or 17 is generally not recommended without medical guidance. Cosmetic procedures should wait until your body has fully matured, and weight management should be approached through healthy nutrition and exercise with the advice of your doctor.

Female | 19

At 19, your body is still developing, and breasts can still get bigger until your early 20s. No, there are no pills or drugs that are capable of increasing the size of the breasts in any considerable way. It is necessary to understand that the size of the breast is defined mainly by the genetic factors and the hormones of the body.

The post-pregnancy treatment for armpit fat focuses on specific exercises and healthy living. Enfold strength training focusing on the chest and back muscles in your workout. Cardio workouts help with total body fat loss. Keep a balanced diet with sufficient hydration. Work with a trainer for customized workout programs. It takes patience and consistency to get gradual sustainable results. However, if worries arise, consult a medical or fitness expert for further advice.

When can i wear a push up bra after implants?

Female | 44

Wearing a push-up bra after breast implant surgery will vary depending on individual healing and your surgeon’s recommendation. Surgeons usually advise wearing a surgical or sports bra for support in the early stages of recovery. After some time as your healing goes on, the surgeon will indicate that it’s safe for you to use bras with underwire or further padding like push-up fibers. It is imperative to follow your surgeon’s postoperative instructions in order for proper healing and best results. It is recommended to ask your surgeon individually about when it’s safe for you to incorporate push up bras into postoperative care.
