You should eat food after 2 to 4 hours of getting lip filler treatment so that your anesthesia wears off.
Avoid eating messy food for at least 24 hours, as you don't want to wipe your lips (for an added layer of safety, it would be better if you waited 2 weeks before resuming with messy food).
You have to be cautious with straws as well.
