I was diagnosed with chlamydia so I did the treatment for a week. When can I resume sexual activity?
Female | 24
After finishing the week-long treatment, it is still necessary to wait 7 days before you have sex again. The purpose of this is to let the antibiotics work properly and make sure the infection is gone. Besides, make sure your partner is also tested and treated if necessary to stop reinfection.

Low sexual desire, also known as impotence, is the inability to have or keep an erection during sexual intercourse. Feeling down or anxious may be caused by this. Some of the reasons are tension, fatigue, and diseases like diabetes. You need to learn how to relax, exercise, eat well, and talk to your partner or a therapist.

Hi, I think was exposed to HIV after having unprotected sex on th 8th July. I took a rapid test on the 18th July and it came out negative. What should I do?
Male | 32
If one suspects to have been exposed to HIV, a regular test is one of the vital things to do. There are cases where the virus needs some time to be discovered during tests. HIV symptoms are different for example vomiting, fatigue, and enlarged glands (lymph nodes). The simple statement that must be kept in mind is that using a protector for the services is the one and that is the first option. In case of any issue, do not forget to consult a doctor.

I have the herpes igg but not the igm. Does it mean I am still heroes poditive and can it be passed if I have unprotected sex.
Female | 20
You have herpes IgG, but not IgM. This indicates an old herpes infection, not a current outbreak. Even without symptoms, herpes spreads through unprotected sex. Use protection to prevent transmission. If blisters or sores develop, consult a sexologist immediately.

I am 22 years old unmarried girl I have nightfall two or three times every month. Why does this happen and due to which hormone? If this hormone is disturbed then it happens like this. And isn't it dangerous and won't create problems even after marriage?
Female | 22
It appears that you are undergoing nightfall. It is a normal thing for your age group. These episodes are a result of hormonal levels fluctuating, particularly testosterone. Imbalanced hormones can be the cause of nightfall syndrome. This is usually harmless and will not be a problem after marriage. However, if you are worried you should talk to a sexologist for advice that is appropriate for you.

Last week of june I met with my gf. We didn't had sex, but did the foreplay thing. For protection I wore condom also with my boxers on. My concern is that two time I changed the condoms after I cum and while changing the condoms, sperm comes in contact with my fingers and after that we did foreplay (fingering in vagina). So how much possibilities that sperm from my fingers will went inside her vagina that will lead to pregnancy as she is on her ovulation period. Her last period started on 14th june, cycle 28 to 30 days. I know now nothing can be done other than, just to wait for period to come. But before consulting you I consulted a sexologist. He told me to to connect to a gynecologist. They will provide you with a better solution. Whether it is practically possible or not. Sperms comes in contact with fingers. After that it comes in contact with other things also like blanket. Than this fingering thing happened. So in such case. Are sperms healthy for fertilisation that can seriously lead to pregnancy. Mentally it is affecting us a lot. First time we are facing this issue don't know what to do. Is it really serious. As no intercourse happened or ejaculation inside her. Concerned about the fingers on sperm. While fingering*

You seem to be going through a common problem called “nightfall.” This is a process that occurs when a person gives out semen during sleep. Some signs may be like you wet your panties. It can be caused by hormone changes or too much stimulation. To help, try to relax before going to bed and stay away from exciting activities. If it persists, getting a consultation with a sexologist may be a good step as you may gain more knowledge about it.

It is common to experience temporary difficulties in libido and erection after having a fever and body aches. They can result from short-term hormonal changes and tension in the body. Sufficient rest, eating a healthy diet, and proper hydration are the things that can make the shift better. If the situation continues, it is always better to get a health consultation from the doctor.

hello doctor! i'm so much worried because this month my periods are late i watch porn videos a lot is this the cause of my late periods?
Female | 19
No way can watching porn be the key reason for late menstrual periods. A lot of stress, irregularities of routine, terrible eating habits, and even hormonal disorders can be the reasons why your menstrual cycle is disturbed. If you are scared, make sure to pay attention to other symptoms like pain or bleeding that is not normal. Do your best to stay calm, eat healthy, and drink plenty of fluids. Talk with a gynecologist to find specific solutions.
