It's understandable to feel concerned about a missed cycle, especially with symptoms like nausea and back discomfort. Stress, changes in diet, or hormonal fluctuations can contribute to irregularities, even in individuals with typically regular cycles. A negative test result indicates that pregnancy is unlikely, but these symptoms may suggest other underlying issues such as hormonal imbalances or digestive changes. I recommend keeping track of your symptoms and considering lifestyle adjustments. If your period doesn't return soon or symptoms persist, don't hesitate to contact a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation and personalized advice.

Hi iam 8 months pregnant, i have taken wrongly normet syrup of my duaghter around 5ml, once i took in my mouth only i realized it, then i spitted out, after that vomitted myself. it will afffect my unborn baby??? Please advice
Female | 32
It can be worrying when taking a drug not intended for you, even more so in case of pregnancy. In your situation, since you only took a small quantity and threw up afterward, a tiny dose of the medicine probably got into your bloodstream. Be careful not to ignore any unusual side effects such as nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain. If you notice anything unusual, get in touch with your gynecologist immediately to get more treatment.

Dr nai pregnancy lagne ki dwai di hai kya is duran Mai gym kr sakti hu kya
Female | 24
I recommend that you go to the gym by yourself during pregnancy if you have not taken your doctor's advice. It is crucial to keep in mind that pregnancy is a tender period, and any physical strain can influence the well-being of the baby. I would suggest that you should go to a gynecologist for this since the doctor will be able to give you the right counsel.

My wife had taken albendazole 400 tabs prescribed by doctor, during 1st trimester 4 days after which we came to know that she is 2 months pregnant. Should we be worried about it.
Female | 28
Albendazole is not recommended during the first trimester of pregnancy due to potential risks to the developing baby. It is important to consult with a gynecologist to discuss any possible effects and necessary precautions.

Good morning doctor Please, I’ve been super worried, I haven’t seen my period in 3months now. I did a profile test and discovered my prolactin levels were a little higher than normal so I was placed on a cabargoline drug for a month alongside ciprofloxasin but yet I haven’t seen my period still and I had a negative pregnancy test result. I did thyroid function test and it states everything is normal. Please, what is wrong with me? ?
Female | 23
Menstrual cycle can be disrupted by the higher levels of prolactin hormone that may lead to irregular periods or even missed periods. Cabergoline is administered to regulate the prolactin hormone secretion. But if you still have not regular periods even though you started taking this medicine, see a doctor again or you can take a second opinion

I am a 17 year old female and I had been diagnosed with vaginal yeast infection 2 years back. Since then it has never completely gone away. I have taken medications including Itraconozole and antibiotics for possible bacterial vaginosis, on the prescription of my doctor, but nothing seems to work. My vagina is so itchy to the point that I create wounds from itching so much. My vaginal discharge is thick, clumpy and yellowish-white. I'm so helpless. What should I do?
Female | 17
Itching, thick discharge, no relief from medication - these could signal a stubborn yeast infection persisting despite treatment. Avoid scented products down there; they may aggravate irritation. Let's try antifungal creams formulated for yeast infections. If that doesn't help, seeing a gynecologist would be wise for proper evaluation and appropriate treatment.

I am a sexually active 16 year female, with a period last on MAY 8th and its over 11 days late. When should I take a pregnancy test?
Female | 16
You can take a pregnancy test as soon as you miss your period. Since it's already 11 days late, it is a good time to take the test now. If you have any concerns or need further guidance, please visit a gynecologist.

If you have taken an emergency contraceptive pill (i-pill), it can sometimes cause changes in your menstrual cycle. Delayed or irregular periods are common side effects of emergency contraception.
Consult with a gynecologist who can evaluate your situation and provide appropriate guidance. They will be able to assess your symptoms, discuss potential causes for the delayed periods, and advise you on the best course of action.

I have late period this month,i gave birth to baby before 8 months and iam giving breastfeeding.
Female | 26
New moms may have irregular periods, especially when breastfeeding. It takes time for your body's cycle to regulate after childbirth. Breastfeeding impacts hormones, potentially delaying periods. Eat properly, get enough rest, and prioritize self-care. If concerned, take a pregnancy test for reassurance. Don't worry excessively, but consult a gynecologist if issues persist.

Iam 25 years old . Iam suffering from back pain and cramps. I used uterus cleaning pill on day 5 of my last period . Now my period is 11 days late . what could be the cause
Female | 25
A possible explanation could be late menstruation due to your body adjusting to those hormones. Your issues might be due to stress, an unhealthy diet, or something more serious. It's vital to stay cool and track your symptoms. To relieve physical discomfort, you can try moves that don't involve immense pain or heat therapy. You can also buy and utilize over-the-counter pain relief. On the other hand, I advise you to consult a gynecologist for a comprehensive health check.

There are no interactions seen between the oral contraceptive pill containing levonorgestrel and the levetiracetam. So, normal dose of contraceptive preparations can be used in patients on levetiracetam. For more information you can visit your nearest gynecologist.

About my pregnancy and take a right decision
Female | 32
Common symptoms include nausea, fatigue, and mood swings, often due to hormonal shifts. These experiences are typically part of this beautiful journey. Staying hydrated, eating balanced meals, and resting can help ease discomfort. Regular prenatal check-ups are essential to monitor your health and your baby’s development. If you have specific concerns or unusual symptoms, I encourage you to reach out to a gynecologist. They can offer tailored advice and reassurance.

I am 30 years old. I want to conceive naturally but I have PCOD. My ovulation dates are getting clashed on the honeymoon period. Kindly suggest how to get pregnant during this time. I am also taking folic acid tablets
Female | 30
PCOD can bring about irregular periods, and thus, it may be challenging to predict ovulation. Your ovulation time is the same as your honeymoon this is what I will suggest: use ovulation predictor kits for the purpose of recording your fertility period. These can help you masculinize the woman and find out the day she is likely to conceive. You should still keep taking your folic acid supplements as they are one of the most important things for a successful pregnancy.

It is vital to realize that pain during sexual activity is not the normal one and rather may indicate an underlying medical issue. I suggest that you see a gynecologist or a female urologist to talk about your symptoms and undergo a comprehensive physical exam.

I am 22 years old girl and my problem is i have blood spotting via vagina before 5 days of periods with little stomach pain
Female | 22
You may be having something known as "spotting" before your period starts. Spotting has various causes, such as hormonal changes, stress, and occasionally infection. The slight stomach ache could be the body getting ready for your period. To manage this, try to lower stress levels, eat well, and drink plenty of water. If it continues or worsens, talk to a gynecologist.

I am mathumitha my age is 21 I am trying to conceive I had my ovulation on June 30 and after 14 days I started bleeding not heavier as my period but it was for 4 days I had a unprotected inter course on my ovulation day I should know that iam pregnant or not I have headache nausea and lower back pain
Female | 21
The spotting you are having after ovulation might be implantation bleeding, which is the condition when the egg that has been fertilized sticks to the uterine lining. This is the most common cause of light bleeding. Morning sickness, aching head, and throbbing back are the three most common of them mentioned among the early pregnancy signs. Sometimes, your hunch might be right and you could become pregnant. However, one should also be aware that these signs could be due to other issues. If you are worried, consult a gynecologist.

It's completely normal for periods to be late sometimes even if you have used protection. Common causes could be stress, a change in routine, or hormonal imbalance. If you are concerned, wait a few more days and then take a home pregnancy test. Remember that irregular periods can happen but it is always good to get checked out just in case.
