It’s understandable to feel concerned about missing menstrual cycles, especially with accompanying cramps and back pain. Various factors can influence your cycle, including stress, changes in weight, or hormonal imbalances. While occasional irregularities are common during adolescence, it's essential to monitor your situation. I recommend keeping track of your symptoms and speaking with a gynecologist for tailored advice. They can offer reassurance and check for any underlying issues. Remember, seeking guidance is a positive step toward understanding your health better.

I'm 19 years old, I had irritation in my inner thigh thought to be thigh chaffing, it stopped then had a surgery for ovarian cyst removal surgery. After a week I had a watery profuse discharge from down there with a weird bad smell stopped after 3 days but caused severe irritation in my inner thigh and labia majora. Went to a dermatologist (and that was 3 months ago) he prescribed for me daktacort thrice daily and triflucan 150mg once weekly as I had tinia cruris (not sure of spelling). My skin got better but I still have slight irritation in my labia majora and minora and white solid like discharge in the middle of the day (not sure if it's okay) my dermatologist told me to continue till my symptoms stop completely and add 2 weeks but I have doubts about the dose and prescription because I didn't think it would last this long. Please help me relief my doubts.
Female | 19
It's normal for such infections to take time to fully clear, and its natural your dermat's advice to continue treatment until symptoms disappear for an additional 2 weeks. Maintain good hygiene and follow up with your dermatologist if you have ongoing concerns or questions about your treatment. Seek a second opinion from a gynecologist

Female | 28
Sometimes, a small bleed can happen around day 28 of your cycle. It might just be a harmless thing. Not necessarily your period or pregnancy sign. Stress, hormonal shifts - these can trigger spotting. But if it keeps occurring or you feel uneasy, do consult a gynecologist.

I have developed wart like growth in cluster on my genital area(external labia) since last two months. Not sure if it is STI or something else. The last time I got sexually active was in august 2023, we used protection and didn't have multiple partners. Please let me know if i should visit a gynac or dermat?
Female | 28
The lumps you mentioned seeing around your private parts may be genital warts. They are caused by a virus known as HPV that can be transmitted through sexual contact. Even with protection, one can get HPV. To deal with this, you need to see a gynecologist who will diagnose you properly and suggest treatment options.

I’m experiencing lower abdominal pain on both the right and left side and the middle, this has been happening for a week. Started from sharp severe pain to mild and i suddenly got my period but still in pain.
Female | 22
This could be brought about by a couple of things such as period pains or even digestive problems. Sometimes it can hurt in more than one place at a time. Menstrual cramps mostly affect the lower belly while abnormal digestion is characterized by similar signs. Taking less heavy meals, drinking a lot of water, and lying down might help make you feel better. In case it persists or becomes severe, it is important to seek medical attention from a gynecologist.

Climbing steps frequently will it cause miscarriage in early pregnancy? I am 40 days pregnant. My age is 31. I am working in a school, I need to climb up the third floor 4 to 5 times a day. Is it safe or creates any issues?
Female | 31
Climbing stairs during the early stages of your pregnancy is usually safe. No one has shown scientific proof that using stairs can be the cause of miscarriage. At your stage of pregnancy, it is still ok for you to climb stairs as you usually do. Take things easy and pay attention to your body. If you notice any symptoms like bleeding or sharp pain then visit your gynecologist as soon as possible.

Female | 25
Irregular periods are expected after taking Unwanted 72. The pill causes hormonal changes that impact your friend's cycle timing and flow. Her next period might arrive earlier or later than usual, or she may notice irregularities. While variations occur, consult a gynecologist if concerns arise.

What can I use to stop the bleeding because I am on a depo birth control injection what pill can I use just to be safe
Female | 19
If you see any blood while taking the Depo birth control shot it is likely that you will experience abnormal bleeding in the first months. If the bleeding is heavy or prolonged, you will be able to get over-the-counter drugs e.g. ibuprofen to make the bleeding less. It is better to drink a lot of water and take a good rest. If nothing helps, or you get worse, discuss the situation with your gynecologist for appropriate advice.

I am 28 years old female are pregnant 10 weeks march 8 was my last period started . I had all the paims back boons and period like pains but now only reast pain is ot normal
Female | 28
It's common to encounter early pregnancy-related back pain and period-like pains. This pain is normal and may occur due to the changes occurring in the breast. However, discussing the issue with the doctor may provide some comfort. Sore breasts are a symptom; they are a sign that the person will have periods soon. The mammary glands are currently in a high growth phase, provoking inflammation in the area. It's now a good idea to have a supportive bra on and stretch very gently. In case of any complications arising from pain or if any adverse symptoms appeared inquire with your gynecologist for support.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on 13 October 2023. I drank morning after pill the following morning then I skipped my periods for 2 months then started bleeding for 14 days in December 2023 Could this be a miscarriage without me knowing I was pregnant
Female | 20
It could be that you had a miscarriage. This happens sometimes without realizing pregnancy. Signs may be heavy bleeding, painful cramps, and passing clots. Unbalanced hormones or issues with the embryo cause it. See a gynecologist if you think it occurred, so they check you're okay.

I'm 24 years present month my periods comes not for time what reasons late period
Female | 24
Hormone levels fluctuate throughout the menstrual cycle, which can sometimes cause a late period. Rapid weight loss or gain can also disrupt menstruation. Additionally, an unbalanced diet high in carbs or fats and lacking essential vitamins and minerals may lead to irregular periods. If your period is absent for an extended time or you experience symptoms like pain or unusual odors, it’s best to see a gynecologist, as this could indicate an infection.

You have a common condition - vulvar acne. In the private parts, spots, and lumps happen due to sweat, uncleanliness, or irritating stuff. It's okay, you can deal with it. Keep that area fresh and arid. Wear undies that let your skin breathe. Don't use harsh soaps. If it lingers or worsens, see a gynecologist for more guidance.

I am above 40 unmarried have been undergoing ovarian cyst problem for 3 months now it is half reduced about 15 mm at the same tiime i am having irregular periods delaying for two months happened two or more times don't know what are these symptoms about can you tell me this in etails as I know about the changes of women's body in this age
Female | 40
Ovarian cysts can not only cause the periods to be irregular but also cause delays. The cyst shrinkage is a blessing, which is a good sign. Hormonal changes and stress can cause these symptoms. Among the ways that may help are a balanced diet and stress reduction. However, a talk to a gynecologist is the best thing to ensure that it is indeed the cysts that are causing the delay.

Mam mere ko 29 April ko c section delivery Hui h but kl evening se bleeding bnd h kya ye normal h
Female | 30
Some blood after a c-section is normal. The bleeding may stop for a bit and then start again. This happens when the uterus squeezes. But if the bleeding gets really heavy or you feel dizzy or weak, call your gynecologist right away. Rest up and avoid hard work or heavy lifting.
