Delayed periods can happen for various reasons, including stress, hormonal changes, or lifestyle factors. Notice any other symptoms like mood swings or weight changes? Keeping a balanced diet, staying active, and managing stress might help. However, it's important to consult a gynecologist who can provide you with personalized guidance and address any underlying concerns. Remember, you’re not alone, and there are solutions available.

Not getting your period on time is concerning, but we'll find the cause. You mentioned getting intimate in late March, which could be the reason. Sometimes, this shifts your cycle. I visited a dentist today. It was just a normal checkup. No surgery or any other procedure. The doctor used her magnifying glass instrument to check my oral region and then used a suction pull. Nothing else was used. This process lasted for 3-4 minutes. I have fear that what if the instrument was not cleaned properly and then used on me. Can I get HIV, Hepatitis, Herpes or HPV from it. Also I have health anxiety

Male | 19

The possibility of catching HIV, Hepatitis, Herpes or HPV from ordinary dental visits is low because dentists rigorously maintain sanitation protocols. Nonetheless, if there's any discomfort or worry, it'll be beneficial to fix a meeting with your regular doctor for some blood test or have a consultation with a specialist in infectious diseases.

If I take 4 doses of emergency contraceptive on 4 consecutive days while having sex can ensure not getting pregnant, 4 weeks after a miscarriage

Female | 25

Taking multiple doses of emergency contraceptive pills is not recommended. Emergency contraceptives are designed to be taken immediately, not as a regular FORM of birth control.. Also, they are not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy, so it's important to use additional methods such as CONDOMS. It's best to speak with a healthcare provider to determine the safest and most effective form of birth control for you .
