It's understandable to feel concerned about a missed cycle. Various factors can influence menstruation, including stress, changes in weight, hormonal imbalances, or underlying health conditions. It's important to monitor other symptoms, such as mood changes or physical discomfort. If your cycle does not resume soon, I recommend reaching out to a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide guidance tailored to your situation and address any underlying issues.

I am a 35 years old woman and trying to conceive from last 3 months. But we are not successful yet and this time also my period has started. We have not consulted to any doctor yet. Do I need to take any medicines for that?
Female | 35
It's completely normal for conception to take some time, even up to a year for many couples. Factors like stress, diet, and hormonal changes can influence fertility. Consider tracking your menstrual cycle and ovulation patterns, as this may help with timing. While medical intervention isn't immediately necessary, consulting a gynecologist can provide personalized guidance and reassurance. They can evaluate your overall health, discuss any symptoms, and recommend appropriate steps if needed.

My periods was delay for 2 months today morning I checked my pregnancy test the result was negative may I know the reason why I got negative.i have thyroid level is 3.54
Female | 29
It's quite usual for one to be worried in cases where a period is missed especially when the pregnancy tests done are negative. Consequently, thyroid levels may sometimes affect your menstrual cycle. When the levels are up to 3.54, they do not pose much danger though they could still result in irregular periods. Also, stress, weight changes, and hormonal imbalances can lead to this irregularity too. However, you need not worry about this stage if it stops here but should see a gynecologist if it persists.

normal deleivery ke liye wait krna chaiye ya opetation karwana chaiye Q ke doctor ne bola hai ke normal mai risk hai baby ka sar wagera phas sakta hai

Aapke concern ko samajhna zaroori hai. Agar doctor ne kaha hai ki normal delivery mein kuch risks hain, to unka matlab hai ke aapki aur baby ki safety paramount hai. Yeh ho sakta hai ki baby ka position ya size delivery mein dikkat daal raha ho. Caesaerean section usually safer option ho sakta hai agar complications hain. Aapko yeh ensure karna chahiye ke aap apne gynecologist se sab options discuss karein, taake aap informed decision le sakein.

Since 19th August I have been taking the contraceptive pill (brand Rigevidon) at the same time every day as close to 6pm. I experienced multiple diarrhoea cases in extreme liquid form on Monday 26th August in very early morning hours. This continued until night of Tuesday 27th August and as of today (28th August) my diarrhea is no longer as extreme liquid water from but still loose when I went. On Monday 26th August I took my pill at 6:15pm but soon had liquid diarrhea as mentioned. I had unprotected sex (pulled out 2 time) on 27th August (right after taking pill at 6pm exact) and had diarrhea shortly after intercourse and I am worried on effectiveness. I took emergency contraception within 24 hrs (Andalan postpil) but I had loose stool around 3 hours of taking and my BMI is 30.5. I then took my regular pill. Should I worry/ what to do?
Female | 22
Diarrhea certainly has the potential to disturb the working of your contraceptive pill. With diarrhea, the body may not completely take in the hormones of the pill, thus lowering its efficacy. This along with unprotected sex can definitely increase the chances of pregnancy. Having taken emergency contraception was a good move. Keep in mind that consistent pill use is important. If your loose stool still continuing, it would be a good idea to inform your gynecologist.

Hello, I'm MA, have not seen my period for the past 6 months , i just turned 40 in January,2024. I will like to know if there's any medication for me to get my period back. Kind regards
Female | 40
No period for 6 months at age 40 could be coming from menopause. Women have been known to stop having periods during this phase of their life and I think you should look into it with a gynecologist. This deserves to be confirmed by a doctor and any other symptoms you may be experiencing like heat waves or mood swings discussed as well. On the other hand, no medicine can bring back menses once this time has started.

Female | 43
Women may undergo variations in the menstrual cycle but if you are experiencing periods after a short time it is an indication of some other underlying problem. For further evaluation and diagnosis, I would suggest consulting a gynecologist. They will be able to administer treatments that are specifically tailored for your condition.

I got my period 5 days after intimate but the pregnancy kit show a dark pink line on it what it's mean
Female | 22
A dark pink line on a pregnancy test can have different meanings. Sometimes, you might still get your period even if you're pregnant, and the test could still be positive, especially in early pregnancy. However, this might also happen if the test is used incorrectly, leading to a false positive. If unsure, take another test or consult a gynecologist for clarification.

Female | 24
Spotting could be the result of many different things, one of which is hormonal imbalance which occurs when there is PCOS/PCOD. It is good that your ultrasound turned out to be normal, hence, some major problems are eliminated. Modification of your OCP is one of the strategies you can discuss with your gynecologist besides other treatment options to make your periods balanced.

I m 21 years old.I tested pregnant last week.Yesterday I got little blood in my vagaina
Female | 20
An example of occasion during which this could be true is that the bleeding will happen through implantation of the fertilize egg within the uterus. Besides that, other reasons can be hormonal changes or infections. Observe the bleeding and how you feel. If a situation persists or you have pain, call your gynecologist to get advice.

There can still be a chance of pregnancy. While the risk might be lower due to the short duration and no ejaculation, there's no guaranteed safe time for unprotected sex. Take a test to confirm.

Pain after intercourse lasts for weeks....I got cervix ectrpion. My last pap smear result is: Benign-looking squamous epithelial cells admixed with benign looking endocervical cells and a few acute inflammatory cells.
Female | 43
Pain lasting weeks post-sex (esp cervical excision) is worrying. Looking at your pap results, seems there are ordinary cells plus little inflammation; all could cause this discomfort. Ensure follow-up by visiting your gynecologist for more checks and care. They'll guide you through finding the most suitable solution for your case.

I am 24 years old female. I am two weeks pregnant. I just started bleeding, i can’t go to a medical professional any time soon. What should i do and why is this happening
Female | 24
Blood loss throughout an early pregnancy might have a few causes such as implantation, hormone shifts, and small issues, to name a few. It is well for IUDers to keep an eye on the flow and any symptoms like severe cramps or dizziness. Letting you rest instead of doing anything stressful can be more helpful. Even though the majority of the cases can be solved without intervention, it is advisable to receive a gynecologist's advice as soon as possible.
