Why is my stomach in pain and can't sleep?

Patient's Query

Hi .I'm kajia my problem is gastric pain and my stomach is paining and I didn't sleep even night

Answered by Dr. Samrat Jankar

Gastric pain can result from various factors, including stress, diet, or indigestion. Common symptoms often include bloating, cramping, or nausea. To alleviate your discomfort, consider smaller, more frequent meals, staying hydrated, and avoiding spicy or acidic foods. Gentle movements like walking may also help. However, if your pain persists or worsens, it’s essential to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation.

I am 25 and I've been experiencing abdominal cramps, fever. The cramps are fine now. But now I have diarrhea and the stools are yellow and foamy and very frequent. I don't know what to do.

Female | 25

The following is an attempt to explain what could be the reason behind frequently going to the loo with a yellow, foamy stool and the way the body deals with unwanted substances. It is possibly diarrhea caused by the stomach flu or eating something that didn't sit right. To restore electrolytes, drink plenty of water and be properly hydrated. If you experience the loss of appetite, diarrhea, and vomiting that come with the condition, avoid high-fiber foods and processed carbs.

I was feeling unwell, was given some anti malarial, not much change, later typhoid was suspected, but I didn't do a test. I've been on ciproflaxacin, I feel like going for a blood check up but it might not work since I've been on medicine, am asking for advice

Male | 20

It seems that dealing with a complex situation. Being sick and taking drugs can lead to inaccurate results of a blood test. Knowing exactly what is wrong is necessary for the right treatment. Symptoms of fever, stomach ache and general body weakness are common in both malaria and typhoid. Failing to go through the test may complicate matters further. My advice is to wait for some days after completion of the ciprofloxacin course before going for a blood test. This will enable you to get clearer results about your health status.

Male | 30

You could have piles which are also referred to as hemorrhoids. The following indications could be the symptoms of piles if you see blood in your stool, feel pain or discomfort around your bottom, or notice swollen lumps. Piles occur when blood vessels in the area become swollen and inflamed. Eating fiber-rich foods, drinking water, and avoiding straining are some methods that can help alleviate the symptoms.
