It’s understandable to feel worried after taking a higher dose of hydrocodone/acetaminophen. Tiredness is a common effect. This medication can cause sedation and drowsiness, and in larger amounts, it may contribute to more pronounced effects. It’s important to stay hydrated and rest. Monitor for any unusual symptoms, such as difficulty breathing or confusion. If you feel increasingly unwell or if symptoms worsen, please consult a physician immediately.

Hi, I had scarlet fever and stoped taking antibiotics a week ago, now I am sick again. I have a fever and pain in my throat when i swallow. Could it be that my scarlet fever came back after a week?
Female | 17
You might have a throat infection after scarlet fever. Fever and throat pain come from bacteria causing a new infection. Not scarlet fever again, but a different one. Drink fluids, rest well, and use throat lozenges for pain relief. See a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen.

Last night a bat flew over my back and I am afraid it might have bitten me. I didn't feel the bite, but now I feel pain in my left shoulder and nausea. Given the potential risk of rabies, I would like to ask if I should seek medical attention immediately?
Male | 17
You might not experience any symptoms if a bat bit you because their bites can be small. If you feel pain and nausea afterward, especially in your left shoulder, it could be a sign of rabies. Rabies is a serious brain virus that commonly occurs through animal bites. Hence, it is necessary to seek medical help without delay. Rabies may be prevented if treated early, hence, it is better not to take risks.

Hi I am suffering from fever last 02 days like 100 & 102 & normal neck pain in mouth.. So what can I do ?
Male | 37
Your symptoms indicate a viral infection. Fevers between 100-102°F accompanied by neck pain often signal the flu or a cold. Resting, staying hydrated, and using over-the-counter fever reducers like acetaminophen can provide relief. However, worsening or persistent symptoms warrant medical consultation. Don't hesitate to seek professional advice if needed.
