Does the morning-after pill work with regular birth control? (Morning-After Pill)

Yesterday my condom burst during intercourse and I would like to know whether the morningafter pill helps her even though she takes the normal pill. Since we are not in Germany at the moment, we urgently need a message. It's the 6th day she's been taking the pill after her bleeding

Emergency contraception should be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. While the morning-after pill can remain useful, even when you are taking normal birth control pills regularly. Gynecologists should always be consulted for personalized and punctual advice.

I had protected intercourse 15 day ago and after that on 1st December I had unprotected intercourse but after 1hr I had contraceptive i-pill. My date was 7th November and today is 3rd November and I have symptoms of periods but fever from yesterday. And I am having something very tiny discharge of white color I guess because can't even see it clearly. What is that. And when will my periods come. I'm I pregnant??

Female | 21

FEVER may not be related to PREGNANCY.. Tiny discharge is NORMAL.. I-Pill is EFFECTIVE within 72 hours of intercourse.. CONTRACEPTIVES can sometimes alter MENSTRUAL CYCLES.. Symptoms may indicate PERIODS coming soon.. If no periods in a week, take a PREGNANCY TEST..

Why doctors refuse hysterectomy?

Female | 46

In some cases, doctors may refuse hysterectomy due to ethical or moral objections like in sterilization surgeries. Some doctors may also be bound by institutional or legal guidelines that restrict certain surgeries based on age, medical necessity, or other factors.

She has a lesion mass in pelvic region

Female | 40

A pelvic lump is a surgical emergency, and you should not wait to visit a healthcare provider for appropriate medical examination. These kinds of masses may be caused by different conditions such as an ovarian cyst, uterus nodular formation or even cancer. I suggest that you seek medical advice from an OB/GYN doctor for further examination, and treatment if necessary.

When I take unwanted 72 pills after 1weeks I got some bleeding but not continue... it's 2weeks earlier than normal periods date...what that mean?

Female | 20

One of the most common side-effects caused by taking emergency contraceptive pills like Unwanted 72 is bleeding. It may change your menstrual cycle, either early or late period. But if the bleeding lasts longer or is more severe than normal, it might be necessary to see a gynecologist for an additional evaluation and therapy.

Iam 20 year female, I have a 26 day menstrual cycle. Every month 11th I have my menstrual period. This month 10th I had an unprotected Sex and it was my first sex. On 11th I didn't get my menstrual period. On 12th afternoon at 3 pm I took levonorgestrel pill. After that on 13th I felt dizziness and from 2 days iam frequently urinating. Now today the date is 16th it's been 5 days I have put on the pill. But I didn't get menstrual period. Iam very afraid. I don't want to get pregnant. Iam unmarried. Please check my situation.

Female | 20

The indications of instability, as well as frequent urination, are the side effects that come with the intake of a levonorgestrel pill, in some cases. One of the repercussions of this pill is an alteration in your menstrual cycle, i.e., a late period. More often than not, it is a typical reaction to developed bleeding, i.e., the moment after the pill is consumed when the period is expected. Keep a cool head and try to avoid getting stressed out, because stress has an impact on your period. If you did not have your period after the first week or two, it is advisable to take a pregnancy test to be 100% sure.

I am 24yrs old young lady. 3 days ago my vagina started getting itchy but they happen more when I wear undies, currently i am noticing a non smelly discharge but I am also ovulating so I am confused. The last time I was sexually active was on the 4th of March

Female | 24

You can use cotton undies, sometime synthetic material may cause itching.
Discharge may be regular discharge due to ovulation.

Pregnancy...initial stage dos and don'ts

Female | 34

Do take prenatal vitamins, eat healthy foods, and drink plenty of water. Don't smoke, drink alcohol, or take any medicines without consulting your doctor. Common symptoms like nausea and tiredness are mainly due to changes in hormone levels. Furthermore, eating small meals frequently and getting enough rest will be a big step forward in this regard.

I have a cyst in my ovary .and l would like to remove it .is it possible that I could remove only the cyst and remain the ovary

Female | 21

The surgeon can remove the cyst, and you will feel better afterward. These cysts are like fluid-filled balloons on your ovary. They can cause pain, bloating, and changes in your periods. Doctors can remove the cyst without taking out the ovary. The surgery is usually effective and helps relieve the symptoms.
