These problems can be attributed to hormonal imbalances or skin conditions. Good skincare practices, like using and maintaining a moisturizing product, will help to address the problem. You can consider hair removal methods as well. Eating a balanced diet and drinking water can also improve skin health. If these methods do not give positive results, then it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.

Using the cream may have caused your skin to become thin and fragile, a condition known as atrophy. The dark layer you see could be a result of this. Try using a gentle moisturizing cream with ingredients like aloe vera or oatmeal to help fade it over time. Avoid strong products and give your skin time to recover. Always do a patch test on new products before applying them to larger areas.

What's the Best Treatment for Pimples, Acne, and Tan?

I have pimples what is the best treatment for pimples and also acne and how to remove tan

Pimples, acne, and tan are usual skin problems. Red bumps are the assets of the pimple, while a bunch of pimples adds up to a pimple. They are the result of both oily skin and dirt on it. The face can be washed twice a day to achieve this. Implements such as benzoyl peroxide can be used to cure them. Tan is dark skin which is the result of the sun. Using sunscreen can prevent this. Getting rid of the tan takes time, use the skin-lightening creams or laser treatments instead.

The symptoms you are talking about, like redness, burning sensation, and recurring infection, might be caused by a disease called balanitis. Balanitis is the inflammation of the foreskin. The reasons may be poor hygiene, tight foreskin, or infections. To get better, keep the area clean, avoid using harsh soaps, and see a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

It seems like you're going through an issue of moderate phimosis which indicates that the foreskin is too tight and cannot be retracted. This can lead to discomfort or pain during activities such as biting water and cleaning. Use of a steroid cream like Betamethasone is likely to be helpful in loosening the skin. A dermatologist will guide you on the right amount of cream to use and where to apply it.

Why do red bumps on my stomach keep returning?

i’m a 23 year old male and i’ve been suffering with itchy red bumps on my stomach for a while now. it started the day after i returned from my thailand trip on 24th august 2024. i immediately went to a dermatologist as i was afraid if it’s any STI but my dermatologist assured me and suggested me Clobetasol Cream IP 0.05% and told me it would be fine. i used it for a couple days and the red bumps on my stomach were gone for a few days but it started itching again and they were back after a few days. whenever i use that cream the red bumps would go away and when i don’t they pop out again.

Eczema can cause itchy red bumps on the skin that come and go often. The Clobetasol Cream which your dermatologist recommended can relieve the suffering by reducing redness and itching but it is not a permanent solution. For the best management of eczema, you need to keep your skin moisturized, avert irritants such as severe soaps or rough materials, and stick to a mild skincare regimen. If the symptoms do not go away, it is better to see your dermatologist again for more advice.

Why do I still feel worm symptoms?

Why do I still feel worm "tickles" and itches even after 3 deworm doses in 2 months?

It’s common to still feel worm tickles and itching even after taking three doses of deworming medicine over two months. This could be because some worms might be resistant to the medicine, or you might have been reinfected. A dermatologist can determine the best treatment plan for you.

Why is my split toenail yellow after 1 year?

Your toenail is split and has become yellow? This could be a fungal infection. Fungi grow in warm, moist areas like your feet. To eliminate the fungus, make sure you keep your feet clean and dry. Alternatively, you can try an anti-fungal cream that you can get over the counter. If it doesn't improve after that, see a dermatologist.

The combination of hydroquinone, retinoid, and mometasone cream, often called Clubmen's formula, is used for hyperpigmented disorders like melasma. This medication is available over the counter under various brand names. It is the common side effect of the cream that it causes depigmentation or white patches, thinning of the skin, prominent blood vessels, acne, increased hair and also increased sensitivity to sun. Please do not use any such creams without consulting a dermatologist

Can Sulfamethoxazole-Trimethoprim Cure Chlamydia Effectively?

Does Sulfamethoxazole-Trimethoprim cure Chlamydia?

Dr. Ishmeet Kaur

Dr. Ishmeet Kaur

Answered on 9th Sept '24

Sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim also recognized as Bactrim is not usually used in treating chlamydia. This is because it is a bacteria that spreads through intimate contact. This may lead to painful urination, unusual discharge, and sometimes no signs at all. Normally, antibiotics such as azithromycin or doxycycline are used to cure chlamydia. If you suspect that you have the disease, it is important to get tested and treated so as to avoid any further complications.

You must have a private consultation with a dermatologist or a piercing specialist today. The outcome of piercing-related problems can be life-threatening because the more time you are leaving the infection untreated, the worse it will become.

Why won't my razor bumps go away with ketoconazole cream?

I have this razor bumps that has refused to go I ve used ketoconazole cream but still no results

At times, ingrown hairs cause little red bumps which can be annoying. I know that ketoconazole cream works great for some skin problems but I’m not sure if it would help with razor bumps. Maybe try using a mild exfoliating scrub to get rid of these pesky little bumps. Do not shave over them until they have cleared up! You might want to see a dermatologist who can give you some tailored advice if this doesn’t work.

You probably have a sinus infection. As a result, you might experience fatigue, headache, sore throat, and swollen mouth. The spots on your tongue may suggest an infection too. To feel better, drink water, rest, and see a dermatologist for further advice.

Could red bumps after intercourse indicate non-STD condition?

I am 19 years old male and have had red bumps on my body for the last week after having intercourse, and I know that my partner does not have an Std or anything that could have been transmitted.

You’ve got a pretty common condition- the name of which is folliculitis. That’s what happens when the hair follicles get infected and cause reddish bumps to show up on the skin. It can happen after engaging in activities like shaving or when there’s friction during intercourse. For this, keep the area clean, avoid tight clothing, and use warm compresses. If it does not get better, see a dermatologist for further advice.
