My period has gone from 6 days to 2 or 3 days for the past 2 months. I am 18 years old, i take birth control for hormonal reasons, Wellbutrin (150mg) for depression, Vyvanse (60mg) for ADHD and Buspirone (15mg) for anxiety. I have a medical history of endometriosis, tension headaches, and anemia. I want to know why my periods are shorter than usual.

Changes in the duration of your menstrual period can be affected by medications, hormonal imbalances, and medical conditions. Consult a gynecologist to evaluate your specific situation and determine the cause of your shorter duration of periods.

After experiencing periods for 2 months, if you missed your period in the third month, there is still a possibility of being pregnant. Consider taking a pregnancy test to confirm. If positive or if you have concerns, consult a gynecologist for further evaluation and guidance.

Kya period ke baad bhi pregnant ho sakte hai

Answered on 23rd May '24

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant after your period. During the menstrual cycle, an egg is released, and if it meets sperm, fertilization can occur. So, even after the period ends, there are days when the egg can still be fertilized, leading to pregnancy. If you have more concerns consult a gynecologist.

For accurate results, take a home pregnancy test after you have missed your period or a few days before if the test claims to be early detection. Use morning urine for accuracy and follow the test instructions carefully as given.

You need to seek medical advice for proper diagnosis and treatment. Keep the area clean and dry and wear loose clothing. Over the counter creams may provide temporary relief, but consulting a gynecologist or dermatologists is essential for a thorough evaluation and appropriate treatment.

Today I took a pregnancy test and I got very very faint line .. does it mean pregnancy.. plus I am having cramps since morning.. and also feeling dizzy from 4 days

A very faint line on a pregnancy test could indicate a positive result, as even a faint line can suggest the presence of the pregnancy hormone hCG. Cramps and dizziness can be associated with early pregnancy, but they can also have other causes. To get a clearer understanding, consider retesting in a few days

A positive pregnancy test indicates that you are pregnant. Not everyone experiences the same pregnancy symptoms, and some people might not have noticeable symptoms early on. So lack of symptoms doesn't necessarily mean an unsafe pregnancy, you need to consult a gynecologist for confirmation

Sperm require specific conditions to survive and move effectively. In the anus, which is part of the digestive system, the environment is not suitable for sperm survival.
