It seems like you might be experiencing a pelvic organ prolapse, where the organs in your pelvis, such as the uterus, protrude or feel like they are coming out of the vagina. It's essential to see a gynecologist for proper evaluation and management. They can provide guidance on pelvic floor exercises and other treatment options tailored to your condition.

variations in period flow and color are normal, and the dark brown blood you experienced could be older blood being discharged. Taking multiple birth control pills and emergency contraceptives can also affect your cycle. Since it's been two weeks since your period and the pregnancy test was negative, it's unlikely you're pregnant. Stress can symptoms like nausea, so try to relax and trust the test results. The light brown discharge you later experienced could be a result of hormonal changes from the medications you took. If you continue to feel unwell or anxious, seek guidance from a gynecologist.

Can I check if medical abortion failed at 22?
I am a 22 year old female and I had a medical abortion which I really regret. I took the first oral pill but vomited very few minutes later. I continued with inserting the rest 48 hours later and I bled. My breasts are still sore and I’m still feeling tired. Could my baby be still alive? Which I’m really hoping for. And when can I do a scan to check if the abortion failed?

It is important to get a scan to confirm the status of your pregnancy. While vomiting shortly after taking the first pill might reduce its effectiveness, the subsequent bleeding could indicate that the abortion process has begun. To know for sure, visit a gynecologist as soon as possible for an ultrasound. They will provide the most accurate information and appropriate guidance.

It is unlikely that you are pregnant because there was no sex. The truth is that your period can be delayed (sometimes by a couple of days) if you are under stress, engage in a diet program, or get your hormonal balance disrupted. Stay calm, pay close attention to the body signals, and see if there's any change over time. If the condition still doesn't improve consult a gynecologist for your peace of mind.

Answered on 23rd May '24
The size of a 12-week-old fetus's head typically measures around 2 cm during a scan. The infant's head undergoes rapid development during this stage, and these measurements are crucial for assessing their growth. If there are no concerning symptoms, this size is generally within the normal range. Nevertheless, it's important to continue attending regular check-ups and follow your doctor's advice to ensure that the pregnancy is progressing well.

Answered on 23rd May '24
An ovarian cyst, like a 6x4 cm one, having been diagnosed can easily lead to lower belly pain, bloating, and menstrual irregularities. Ovarian cysts occur when an egg is not released from an ovary. Medicines can be used for pain management, but a hysterectomy may become necessary to remove the cyst. It is the best to discuss possible solutions with your gynecologist.

Leucorrhea or white discharge is common in women, but if it changes color, smell, or amount, it may be a symptom of an infection. Primary cause may be a yeast infection or an bacterial vaginosis. You might also be irritated or get itching problems. Maintaining proper hygiene, wearing cotton underwear, and staying away from scented products are the best practices that can be done to prevent such infections. If the given symptoms are still present, it will be a good idea to have a gynecologist to discuss the problem.
