We are terrified to learn of your mother's state and wish her all the best.

As for your query, based on our understanding, the cost of this operation should fall within the range of INR 90,000 to INR 4,50,000.

Depends on extremity of concern, technology used to enhance operation outcomes & experience, expertise of doctor, location of clinic, and other value-added services that are provided.

Let us know if you need our help with regards to any other issue, take care!

Get a CECT (Abdomen+Pelvis) with oral , iv and rectal contrast  or MRI pelvis for knowing the organic cause if there are recurrent benign polyps and consult the general surgeon with histopathology reports of earlier polyps.

I am a 32 year old male, who feels effaminate, feminine, unmanly, girlish, and have super low self confidence, self esteem, willpower, self control, and have serious aforesaid social issues. I have zero motivation, and despise myself. I have been diagonised as bipolar disorder, and had been taking medications for more than 14 years, but if no avail. My recent psychiatrist advised me to check with an endroconologist, and a psychotherapist who specializes in sexuality. Any suggestion?

Answered on 23rd May '24

It seems you are in depressive phase of bipolar disorder, and you most likely seems to have bipolar II, where in one has more of depressive episodes, and short hypomanic episodes, one needs to take mood stabilizers under supervision of psychiatrist to control mood swings( from hypo mania to depression ) along with antidepressants which should help to recover from your illness , and need to psycho educate the patient and relatives on symptoms of both depression and hypomanic episodes

Currently, there are 3 types of clinical procedures to get you rid of dark circles. Read ahead to learn more:

  1. Bleaching creams: They lighten the hyperpigmentation underneath your eyes.

  2. Advanced treatments:
    • Laser therapy: Where heat produced by intense light beam vaporizes damaged cells underneath your eyes.
    • Chemical peel: A concoct of skin-nourishing acids. which is applied to your skin and peeled off later on to remove all impurities.

  3. Minimally invasive techniques:
    • There is also a surgical technique to remove fat from your lids if the cast of their shadow is the culprit behind your dark circles, which is known as blepharoplasty.
    • And otherwise you can also inject certain acids into the tissues under your eyes, as recommended by trained specialists, so as to overcome volume loss under your eyes which could have contributed to dark circles as well, they are referred to as fillers.

You can also refer our list of dermatologists in India, to get in touch with qualified practitioners and find out more about the above-mentioned options.

With every specialist, discuss these things at length:

  • Past experiences & success rates.
  • Common side effects & risks of such procedures.
  • Pre-treatment preparations & post-treatment care.
  • Candidate eligibility to undergo these treatments.
  • Correction course in case you run into risks &/or achieve undesirable outcomes.
  • Detailed information of how they will perform advanced treatments & minimally invasive surgeries.
  • Note: Since you mention sunken eyes, therefore lay more emphasis on minimally invasive techniques while discussing these things with the specialist, and get their opinions regarding same.

Drop us a message if you have any other doubt or if you want a city-specific list to ease your hunt for a specialist of desired qualities. Take care!

There are no interactions seen between the oral contraceptive pill containing levonorgestrel and the levetiracetam. So, normal dose of contraceptive preparations can be used in patients on levetiracetam. For more information you can visit your nearest gynecologist.

Doctor, 28 year old. My cheeks was normal when I'm 25.but now in these 3 year, my cheeks are bigger in size.so, plastic surgeon is okay to treat my problem? If not, which type of doctor is okay to treat my problem?I'm alcoholic, is that cause to my big cheek or 3 to 4 year ago l took local supplements in gym, is this reason to my big cheek? This 2 reasons I thought that these are problem.

We need to see if there is any increase in body weight so increase in body weight is one of the  reason for increasing cheek size. Alcohol chronic consumption increase parotid gland size and cheeks appear big. So we need to analyze whether it's alcoholic enlargement or because of the weight gain for which we require pictures. If we find the correct reason we can solve it either by lipolytic injection,or hifu or buckle fat removal. We can choose any one based on the pictures. You can also visit to best plastic surgeon in your area.

Hi good evening.i want hair transplant .can u give me some suggestions please . thanks.

  • This surgery wouldn't require hospitalization, but will take hours and may need multiple sessions too.
  • The cost of hair transplant ranges from Rs. 25 to Rs. 45 per graft, which is inclusive of tax as well. And each graft will consist of approximately 1 to 3 hair follicles.
  • So for 3,500 grafts, it should cost you rs 87,500 in the least. But incurred charges may differ from our estimated prices, because factors such as experience/location of surgeon, facilities/infrastructure of clinic, and whatever complications that your hair/scalp presents with, will have a pivotal role in determining the resultant charges.
  • For transgender individuals and those with curly hair, this procedure might present unique challenges as well.
  • Hair transplant is supposed to be permanent, but hair will shed and grow depending on its phases, just like how your natural hair does.
  • To understand price differences owing to distinct surgical techniques and city-wise impact, our writeup can be extremely helpful for you - Cost of Hair Transplant in India.
  • Additionally, our page - Hair Transplant Surgeons, will help you get in touch with relevant practitioners.
  • Hair transplant is a surgery that involves extraction & transplantation of hair follicles from one spot to another, but assume if your donor's spot has extremely less hair to provide the required coverage for your balding spot, then you can also enquire regarding biofiber synthetic hair implants.
They are not permanent however, and may cost more, so find out about it.
