I am 54 and have had a swollen, red, itchy, scaly skin leg from the knee to the toes. I’ve been to the doctor 3 times and they checked for a blood clot and ran tests. No clots. Tried 2 different antibiotics that were prescribed and no change. Icing doesn’t change. Elevation doesn’t change. Compression socks doesn’t change it either. Resting it doesn’t help either.

Saicylic peels, topical retinoids, comedone extraction are prescribed by the Dermatologists to treat the black heads which are the initial stage of acne. Acne marks can be treated with superficial peels like gycolic acid peels, TCA peels, laser toning etc. Acne scars depending on their type and severity, a stand-alone or combination of treatments including subcision, erbium yag or CO laser, microneedling radofrequencuy or TCA cross etc are used.
