Answered on 29th Aug '24
A small corn grew on your foot. You used a corn cap, causing it to increase in size. The swelling occurs when the skin reacts to pressure or friction. Soak your foot in warm water. Gently file the corn. Wear comfortable shoes to reduce pressure. If it doesn't improve, see a dermatologist.

Hi I'm got some infection on my private part on my penis so I want to consult doctor
Male | 32
You might be suffering from a genital infection that has affected your penis. This infection's symptoms could be redness, itchiness, strange discharge, or a hurt while you urinate. Infections can be caused by bacteria, viruses, or fungi. The first thing you need to do is wash and dry the genital area. You should not have sex until the infection is gone. You may do better with the homeowner antifungal or antibacterial cream you may buy, but if the symptoms are still there, you better go to a urologist.

I have pinpoint small dots all over my cheeks they seem like bumps and acne but I have tried tea tree oil and lemon and nothing works
Female | 17
Sometimes, tiny bumps appear on the skin. It's called milia. They happen when dead skin cells get trapped near the surface. To help get rid of milia, you can try using a gentle exfoliating scrub to remove those dead skin cells. Also, keep your skin clean and moisturized - that's important. If the problem doesn't go away, consider seeing a dermatologist for further advice on dealing with it.

I recently had a syphilis infection. My RPR titer went down from 64 to 8. Will it get to non - reactive
Male | 29
Syphilis, a treatable infection, responds to antibiotic treatment. Your declining RPR titer indicates progress. A titer of 8 signifies improvement, though complete clearance may take time. Persevere with prescribed treatment. Consult your dermatologist regularly for monitoring and guidance. Syphilis symptoms include sores, rashes, fever, and fatigue. Completing treatment prevents complications and stops the infection's spread.

Hello, can someone with syphillis with a 1:2 titer still be infectious?
Male | 28
Syphilis, even with low levels, remains contagious. It spreads through intimate contact. The bacteria behind syphilis causes sores, rashes, fever, and body pains. But don't worry, antibiotics like penicillin can cure it. However, remember - symptoms disappearing doesn't mean the infection's gone. Getting proper treatment matters. So, be vigilant. If concerned, see a dermatologist now.

Acne occurs when you have these red spots on your face caused by your skin producing too much oil. It's super common, especially during the teenage years. To help, you can use a face wash with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid. These can clear up your skin by unclogging your pores.

I was bitten by a tick a week ago. I got it out s day later when i noticed it but couldn't get its head out. Its starting to itch and looks like a slight rash. Should i be worried or will it go away on it's own?
Female | 35
When ticks bite, it can cause itching, rash, and redness on the skin. If the tick’s head remains in your body, it may result in an infection. To alleviate this, wash the affected area with soap and water then apply an anti-itch cream. Watch out for any signs of infection like increased redness or pain; should you notice any seek medical attention immediately.

I've been using Clobeta Gm for my face and it works great for my skin. I've used others Creams and serums suggested by doctors and some serums by watching online suggestions but this which I brought for some fungal infection works great for my skin on my face. I've used this before about 2 years back it worked before also but I've stopped using because of fear that this might cause any problems in my future but I'm these 2 years my acne got worse I've tried all possible sources but nothing did work for my skin. After losing hope i remembered this and now I started using this and again it gave me results. I don't if something is wrong with my skin or what works for it. I just need a approval that this doesn't cause any future permanent damage in future and i also wanna know about this cream whether it is safe or not - it's clobeta GM cream ( clobetasol propionate, neomycin sulphate, miconaxole, zinc oxide and borax cream 20g) it's composition: clobeta propionate I.P 0.05% w/w ,Neomycin Sulphate I.P 0.5% w/w , Miconazole Nitrate I.P. 2.0 % w/w,Zinc Oxide I.P 2.5% w/w,Borax B.P. 0.05% w/w,Chlorocresol(as preservative) I.P. 0.1% w/w,Cream base.
Female | 19
You found Clobeta GM cream helpful. But, be careful using it long-term. Clobetasol propionate, the steroid, may thin skin or cause acne if used too long. Neomycin might irritate your skin. Miconazole kills fungus but shouldn't be used without doctor's advice over time. Consult a dermatologist to use this cream safely and avoid risks.

I have recently had scrotum exploration survey 32 hours ago and was wondering how long before it can get wet and would it be okay to smoke cannabis. Also i have been prescribed to take 3 co-amoxiclav a day for 14 days, what other pain killers can i use.
Male | 18
It is suggested that a person waits at least 48 hours after they have explored their scrotum before getting it wet. This is to prevent infections. In addition, one should refrain from smoking marijuana while they are recovering to facilitate healing. If you are still experiencing pain, you could take paracetamol or ibuprofen alongside co-amoxiclav.

How can I get a prescription for Hydroquinone or Albaquin 20% for pigmentation on my face. Had Depigmentation in the past in England, where I reside for extensive vitiligo. I used to get it from Dr Mulekar and from Puneet Lab, Mumbai. Dr Mulekar has now passed away. I’m looking for another Dermatologist who can prescribe it for me. I get small very dark specks on my face occasionally, the Albaquin 20% helps to control these dark patches.
Female | 63
Dealing with pigmentation issues on your face can be frustrating. You're looking for a prescription for either Hydroquinone or Albaquin 20% to help lighten those dark patches. Pigmentation problems often result from sun exposure or hormonal changes. A dermatologist could evaluate your skin, and then prescribe the most suitable treatment option. Hydroquinone and Albaquin 20% are potential solutions worth considering.

Hello doctor. I am rohit bisht. I am 18 years old. Please suggest me how to recover and stop hair whitening
Male | 18
Hair going white with age or being genetic is a usual thing. Skin problems and tension also cause this. Do something for yourself if under stress; take deep breaths maybe start doing yoga. Have a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals as they play a crucial role in preventing premature greying. If possible use plant-based dyes because they don’t contain harmful chemicals however; don’t forget to handle your hair gently while dying it so that you may not end up damaging it further.

I shower every day, I’ve tried different acids like salicylic acid, glycolic and so on but not that worked. What do I do?

You have been experiencing heavy sweating and body odor. My suggestion is to consult with a dermatologist who can assess and address your sweat and odor issues.

I am 31 years old I'm auto driver I got boils on my buttocks it's itching and paining a lot unable to sit or wear pants
Male | 31
Boils are painful and red yet soft lumps of pus and can be filled with purulent fluid. They can be caused by bacteria that enter the skin through small cuts or hair follicles. To help with this, try applying warm compresses to the affected area. Also, wear loose-fitting clothes and keep the area clean. If your boils aren't getting better or worsen, consult a dermatologist for further treatment.

"Hey, I just noticed that today my blood vessels are a purple color, and when I try to touch them, it doesn't cause any pain only a little bit of sore otherwise im fine. It started today, and I don't feel any symptoms at all. im not on any medication.
Male | 20
Purple blood vessels on the skin can look unusual, but they're usually not a big deal. Increased pressure might make them more noticeable. If there's no pain or other symptoms, it's probably nothing to worry about. Try elevating your legs and avoiding standing for too long. However, if you're concerned, see a dermatologist for treatment.

Male | 17
The sign appears that you perhaps have an allergy to the Caladryl cream. On the other hand, I suggest you should stop the lotion use immediately and go to the dermatologist for a thorough examination and necessary treatment. The doctor who should consult for this disease would be a dermatologist.
