I'm 17 years old. I'm having sleep problems.i can't sleep properly in night, it's almost took me 2 hours to sleep even after closing my eyes. And in day time , my eyes started to burning
Female | 17
Seems like you might have insomnia, that is the inability to fall asleep or stay asleep. If you can’t fall asleep at night this can cause tired eyes that burn all day long. Stress, caffeine and use of screens before bedtime are some common reasons why teenagers suffer from this condition. Establishing a night time routine, avoiding caffeine and switching off the screens before going to bed may help improve your sleeping patterns.

You’re having pain in the joints after you were administered cortisone to the node in your cerebellum. On occasions, joint pain may occur as a side effect of cortisone. Your knees, hands, and hips hurt and it is difficult to stand on them. This is quite possible with cortisone which will affect your body. Good day doctor Since childhood, I have always been pressing on my nerves and muscles throughout my body, and I can't control myself. It's like grinding teeth, but in my body, and it's voluntary. These are not spasms; I do them, but I can't stop them. When I try to stop myself, I feel like I'm going to explode. The issue was minor in childhood and significantly reduced during adolescence almost to the point of disappearing. However, over the past few years, the problem has worsened significantly. Currently, I'm squeezing my body's vertebrae, especially my neck, and I feel like it's twisting. I consulted a psychiatrist and neurologist who said there is no organic issue, just a bit of anxiety. I took medications for anxiety and stress, but there was no effect. Thank you very much for your time
Male | 34
The nature of your symptoms probably is involuntary muscle contractions or muscle spasms. It is necessary to have the condition assessed by a neurologist who specializes in movement disorders or a physiotherapist who will be able to look at your condition in person and guide you properly.

I have sleep disorder, and an underlying diagnosis of Myasthenia Gravis. Also, have Nasal septum slight deviation, and turbinate hypertrophy. Have not been able to sleep for more than an hour or 2, for past 3-4 months. Have been told to do Sleep study, but I have anxiety with putting cords or mask, so couldn't even do a Sleep study due to Nasal cannula requirement. Also, I feel difficulty breathing in flat position, and usually because of that fear, haven't laid flat in past 2-3 months. How should I go about solving this issue? Where to start?
Female | 77
It's normal to feel anxious about a sleep study. Your symptoms could be related to Myasthenia Gravis or a nasal issue, especially if you have trouble breathing when lying flat. Good sleep is vital for your health, so share your concerns with your healthcare team. They may suggest alternatives like home sleep tests or other ways to improve your sleep. Identifying the cause of your sleep problems is key to finding the right solution for you.

They might suggest medications to reduce pain and inflammation. Physiotherapy and simple exercises could help relieve the pain and strengthen your back and core muscles, which will benefit your health in the long run.

35 year old male. Dull ache in top back of neck, on and off for 2 months but more constant now. Can come with head aches and occasional vertigo
Male | 35
It is plausible that the person has tension headaches due to muscle pain in his or her neck and shoulder. With occasional vertigo, other causes should be ruled out such as abnormalities in the cervical spine or inner ear. The individual is advised to consult a neurologist for more evaluation and treatment of these manifestations.

Dizziness is often caused by things like not drinking enough water, having low blood sugar, problems with the inner ear, or even just feeling stressed out. It might be best if this has been happening for some time to go and see a doctor. The appointment would be with a healthcare provider who can know why you feel dizzy and will treat you.
