Questions & Answers on "General Physicians" (1312)

The very corners of my eyes are slightly yellow after smoking cannabis with my friend and we are smoking hash joints which has like a mix of tobacco in it. Im a 20 year old girl and i smoke weed pretty regularly for the past like 6 months or so. I almost never drink and the last time i drank was well over a momth ago. I also never smoke cigarette but did that a month ago too. I saw someone here saw this guy had jaundice because he smoked weed and had hepititus B but i dont have that. Its just the corners and its not that pigmented but its scaring me please help

Female | 20

Yellowing of the eyes may suggest liver problems and hepatitis. Smoking cannabis and tobacco may aggravate liver infection. The issue is that it's hard to pinpoint the cause without thorough examination. An additional evaluation and liver function tests are advised to be conducted by your doctor.

Swallowing a relatively small amount of fluoride mouthwash such as Crest Pro Health Advanced is hardly an impending doom. But if you show any signs of abdominal pain, vomiting or breathing difficulties then immediately go to the hospital.

Male | 18

Excessive sweating even during winters can be a sign of hyperhidrosis. To manage it, use clinical strength antiperspirants, wear breathable fabrics, stay hydrated, avoid triggers like caffeine and alcohol, and practice stress management techniques.

Hi sir My mother age is 54 brain surgery completed in 3 months nothing to any development please tell me the recovery time sir. Please help me sir ??

Female | 54

A 54 yr old woman undergoing brain surgery may experience a recovery timeline similar to many other adults, but again, each case is unique.
The complete recovery process, which includes returning to normal daily activities and regaining cognitive and physical function, can take several weeks to several months or even longer.

Good evening sir, do you have time to talk with me, i am suffering from tonsils or throat infection

Male | 19

It seems you might have tonsillitis. That's when your tonsils get infected and swollen. You'll likely have a really sore throat, making it hard to swallow. Plus, the glands in your neck could swell up too. Tonsillitis usually happens because of viruses or bacteria. To feel better soon, take it easy and drink plenty of warm liquids like tea or soup. Visit your doctor to get relief from this.

Weakness due to mastrubating

Male | 24

Masturbation is not the cause of weakness. It is a form of regular and natural sexual encounter. However excessive masturbation could cause fatigue and other symptoms which might be related to mental health issues. If you are not feeling well, please contact your physician for an evaluation and treatment.

I am from South Africa and was vaccinated against measles, does that mean I am vaccinated for mumps and rubella?

Female | 26

If you have been vaccinated against measles it doesn't necessarily mean that you are covered against mumps and rubella. Each of measles, mumps, and rubella is a different disease. They each have their vaccine that is necessary for protection. Mumps may make you have swollen glands while rubella can cause a rash and fever. To be entirely safe, make sure that the mumps and rubella vaccinations are received.
