In case you have a missed period and experience other symptoms as well that raise the question of pregnancy, you should visit your gynecologist. The causes of menstrual cycle delay can be diverse and include stress, weight changes, irregular hormones, or even pregnancy.

Sir I got my periods more than 7 days what can I do I'm scared
Answered on 23rd May '24
Menstrual flow that lasts longer than 7 days might be a symptom of a medical condition that needs a doctor’s attention. You should see a gynecologist who can determine what is going on and prescribe the best-suited treatment.

Had unprotected non penetrative sex (wearing underwear) on day 8 of menstrual cycle. Started vaginal bleeding that lasts only few minutes on day 17 and day 19 (12-10 days before periods) (Did not happen on day 18). First bleeding started with red color then started spotting brown. Confused whether it's spotting before periods or implantation bleeding.
Answered on 23rd May '24
It is impossible to know whether the bleeding occurred because of premenstrual spotting or implantation blood without a physical examination. To get a clear idea, plz visist a gynecologist

I had pregnancy scare after having ipill on oct 3rd. After that i took multiple urine pregnancy tests in November and December. All came out negative. I cannot be pregnant right. I had my periods too and they were quite heavy. I keep having cramps in my body here and there alot of times till date. And also feel really gassy and nauseous all the time It’s been 4 months. So it’s obviously something else right. Not pregnancy right?
Answered on 23rd May '24
Since you have had a series of negative results in your pregnancy tests including the ones after having periods, then it’s unlikely that you are pregnant. However, consistent cramps, gas and nausea could be symptoms of other attributes such as gastrointestinal problems or hormone fluctuations. It is recommended to see a healthcare practitioner for an in-depth assessment of your symptoms and immediate processing, especially if you have doubts about the state of your health.

After 45days of no periods, I had my USG that suggested PCOD with both ovaries bulky then I started on Deviry, after consulting a doctor. 2days prior to the start of medication I was involved in a protected sex for once. Now it's been 4days since last dose of Deviry, but still no periods. Is there any possibility that I might get pregnant? Please do reply
Answered on 23rd May '24
This is low as you have mentioned that protection was used during the intercourse. However, no contraceptive method is 100% effective; there will always be a slight risk. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOD) can lead to irregularities in your menstrual cycle, thus making periods unreliable. Deviry is a progesterone medication often used to normalize the menstrual cycle, but your period may not start immediately after completing the course. If you suspect a pregnancy, then taking the test will be wise to reassure yourself and seek advice from your doctor regarding PCOD-related irregularities of menstruation.

What to expect 8 weeks after a hysterectomy?
Answered on 23rd May '24
Many complaints fade away eight weeks after a hysterectomy when the major healing usually takes place within the first six weeks. however full recovery can take up to several months, and some internal healing is still taking place at this point. Fatigue and occasional discomfort is normal, but one should refrain from very heavy lifting or vigorous activities. Hormonal changes and also the psychological impact of this surgery can lead to emotional responses such as mood swings or sorrow. Routine follow up with the physician is necessary to check on recovery and address issues such as normalizing sexual relations or dealing with menopausal symptoms in case of removal of ovaries.

I am 20 year old .. I have unprotected sex with my partner..I have taken unwanted 72 within 24 hrs.. i had bleeding after 7 days and it was heavy for first day.. bleeding lasts for 3 days.. Is there is any chance of pregnancy???? Please tell me
Answered on 23rd May '24
It is normal to bleed after swallowing an emergency contraceptive pill; it is usually not a serious condition. This bleeding is normally less than a usual period and takes place due to hormonal changes associated with the pill. Important to note that this bleeding is not like a normal menstruation. If the bleeding is heavy or long-lasting, and especially if there are other worrying symptoms beforehand, seeking medical advice can be useful. More importantly, it also needs to be mentioned that emergency contraception is not a routine birth control mechanism

Spotting can happen during pregnancy. Sex may trigger bleeding . Period indicates no pregnancy . .

SUDDEN lower back and pelvic pain can be due to PMS.. PAIN when standing could be due to muscle strain.. THE pain in waves could be due to contractions.. Other reasons could be endometriosis, fibroids, or ovarian cysts.. IT'S best to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment..
