The treatment for bladder cancer is a combination of surgery and chemotherapy. Whether chemotherapy precedes or follows surgery is dependent on the stage of the cancer. It is necessary to pay a visit to a urologist or oncologist who is a professional in the treatment of bladder cancer so that he/she can assist you more appropriately.

Mere known mai kisi ko liver cancer ho gaya hai please btaye hum kya kr sakte hai
Male | 43
If someone you know is dealing with liver cancer, ask them to consult a specialist in liver diseases and cancers to determine the extent and stage of the cancer. Based on the diagnosis, the doctors will recommend treatment options like surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy. They need to focus on managing symptoms and side effects, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and consider joining support groups. Regular check-ups and collaboration with their oncologist team will be important for monitoring and managing the cancer effectively.

Hello, my mother-in-law is suffering from Maligant Cancer possibly stage 4. Can she be treated through immunotherapy? Her age is 63 years and she had gone through uterus removal surgery 3 months before, because of the same cancer. But it has struck back now. Please guide us on further treatment.
Hello, Immunotherapy has promising therapeutic approach in gynecological cancer. Current studies are trying to improve clinical outcome of patients. Important is FDA approval of a drug. Also it has less side effects. But advance cancer treatment depends on risk versus benefit, age of patient and associated comorbidities mainly. It is the clinician's decision to decide the best treatment for the patient depending the on the condition of the patient. Consult an oncologist for further guidance - Best Oncologist In India. My father was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer 5 years back and treated with surgery and chemo in Chennai. He was cancer free. But he was recently diagnosed with gastric cancer at an early stage. Doctor asked it is curable but we are anxious cause he is 69 and we really don't know whether he can take this trauma. Please suggest a good hospital in Chennai that is good for Gastric cancer
In very early cancers I.e stage 1 mucosal - just an excision from inside the stomach is needed. It can be done endoscopically without any sutures or scars. However if it is slightly advanced, then the surgery will be a bit complex as he already has undergone surgery for the esophagus. However if the disease is limited, he should definitely undergo treatment for the stomach cancer .

I’m female, 17years old. I found that there is a lump in my left armpit, it has been there fro about two years. It doesn’t hurt when untouched but can hurt alittle tiny bit when pressed on or squshed. What is it? Cancer?
Female | 17
I would suggest that you consult medical expert in the field of breast health or oncology for further diagnostics. There may be a swollen lymph node, an infection or benign growth in your left armpit and these all should not have malignancy. Don’t wait and visit your doctor immediately.

Hi, my friend has diffuse B cell lymphoma in the small intestine. Which is the best chemotherapy or surgery for the same?
The gastrointestinal tract is the most common site of extranodal involvement for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL),but there is deficit of enough study in such cases therefore the best combination of treatment is subject of discussion. Currently, a combination of surgery followed chemotherapy is considered primarily because the preoperative diagnosis is difficult and risk of complications requiring surgery is quite high during chemotherapy. As per studies surgery plus chemotherapy was associated with a lower rate of relapse than chemotherapy. But the decision should be made by the treating clinician only as he is evaluating the case. Consult an oncologist - Best Oncologist In India. Hope our answer helps you.

Hi, I have a doubt, is there any specific reason for which immunotherapy is not recommended in the early stages of any cancer?
Chemotherapy works by stopping or blocking cancer cells from growing and immunotherapy works by boosting up a patient's immune system to find and then attack cancer. Though immunotherapy is gaining popularity but still it is in growing stage.
Chemotherapies have been key to cancer treatment from a very long time with all established and compiled data regarding the effects and side effects thus making doctors more confident about it in comparison to immunotherapy which is still newer. But gradually it is proving itself in some cancers as preferred line of treatment. Consult an oncologist for clear understanding.
Hope our answer helps you.

Pancreatic cancer stage 4 needs medical attention, being very serious. While ayurvedic medicine, India's traditional system, may ease certain symptoms, it can't cure advanced cancer. Treatment typically involves chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and sometimes surgery. Working closely with oncologists ensures the most suitable treatment plan.
