There are many government schemes and programs in India that provide financial assistance for cancer treatment like the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), also known as Ayushman Bharat. You can check if your aunt is eligible for this scheme, and if so, she can avail cashless treatment for cancer in any empaneled hospital. You can check thjere are various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and cancer foundations for financial assistance.

My wife's age is 41 years and she got operated on by laparoscopy on 21 February 2020 for stone in gallblader. However, histopathological report of the gallbladder which has been cut out shows Carcinoma grade 2. Please guide me for further treatment.
41 year old lady underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallbladder stones, post surgery if biopsy turned to be cancer, we need to evaluate and treat further. My question is what else treatment u had after diagnosis of cancer. Usually we do PET CT scan to know stage followed by radical cholecystectomy for gallbladder cancer. Frankly speaking gallbladder cancer per se has poor prognosis only

Hello Sachin, Treatment for oral cancer (mouth cancer) or any other cancer normally depends on the type, location, and stage of the cancer, age of patient and patient's general condition when diagnosed.
Oral cancer treatment includes:
- surgery in early stages,
- Radiation therapy,
- Chemotherapy.
- Treatment for advanced stages will usually involve a combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
- Targeted therapy can be effective in both early and advanced stages of cancer.
In your case, depending of stage of cancer or if it is recurring, the clinician will decide about the line of treatment. Very important is nutrition of patient as eating will be a concern during and after treatment for some time. Hygiene of mouth is also very important and not to be missed. In case of advanced oral cancer, the patient may need reconstructive surgery and some rehabilitation to assist with eating and speaking during recovery. Speech therapist, nutritionist will be needed. Kindly consult an oncologist for evaluation.

When you have adenocarcinoma, you must stick to the treatment plan your doctor gives you. Chemotherapy is used often for treating this type of cancer. Just try to follow the treatment schedule, eat well, and get enough rest.

This form of cancer causes symptoms such as jaundice, weight loss, and belly pain. It starts when cells near the ampulla of Vater begin growing out of control. Treatment typically involves surgery followed by chemotherapy. You must collaborate closely with her physician to determine the most effective course of action for your mother. Be strong and be there for her during this difficult time.

Can you cure colon cancer stage 4
Female | 37
Curing colon cancer at stage 4 is difficult but it is not impossible. The primary treatment for stage 4 colon cancer is chemotherapy, which aims to shrink the cancer or in some cases radiation therapy is used. Consult an oncologist who can recommend a proper treatment plan for you.

What is the treatment option for colon cancer in stage 2. What is the survival rate in stage 2?
As per my understanding you want to know the survival rate of stage 2 colon cancer. Colon cancer Stage II (adenocarcinoma) is a common and curable cancer. Depending on features of the cancer, 60-75% of patients are cured without evidence of cancer recurrence following treatment with surgery alone. Also the age of the patient, comorbidities, his general health condition also influences the outcome of the cancer. But still consult an oncologist - Best Oncologist In India. Ive always had discharge for as long as I can remember and at my 8 week postpartum checkup the doctor checked me but said it wasn’t alarming because it’s not bothering me. I am currently 4 months postpartum and noticed I was getting discharge that had a slight odour and the discharge left rashes between my thighs and it got to the point I couldn’t wear underwear because the discharge would get more and I keep getting rashes. I noticed it getting a little bit better when I stopped wearing underwear the smell was still slightly fishy but not too terrible like before but recently after sexual intercourse I bled a little. Now google says it’s either the C word or some infection. I’m aware I should go doctor right away but I’m just not able to do so , my last two screenings for cervical cancer with my Pap smear came negative it was in 2018 and 2021. What’s the reason I bled?
Female | 27
Postpartum, it is normal to discharge but rashes and odor can prove an infection. Sex-related bleeding is not normal and may indicate a problem. This is why it’s important to go and see a doctor so that they can rule out any serious conditions. Cervical cancer screenings are also significant, but they do not detect all problems. If you are experiencing symptoms, do not waste time before seeing a doctor.

I am detected with rectum cancer . I have a tumor at the tip of my anus and doctor has advised a surgery colostomy. I have got a PET SCAN done. The conclusion report of the pet scan says The known hypermetabolic primary rectal neoplasm involving mid and lower rectum. Small sized mesenteric, mesorectal and presacral lymph nodes with no significant FDG activity. Otherwise, no hypermetabolic distant metatases. I would like to know What stage is my cancer in? 1. What will be my lifetime changes after doing this surgery? 2. Is it safe to come to India during this time (COVID pendamic) to do the surgery? ( I stay out of India) 3. How long do I have to be in the hospital and in India for after care treatment ? 4. Will I need a radiation after my surgery? 5. What will be the total cost of my surgery? 6. I would like to get an appointment at your hospital for the surgery. Kindly guide me with my queries.and let me know when can I get an appointment in your hospital.

Oncologist can determine stage after clinical examination and reviewing of the pet scan images. he will need more details to stage the patient .

Hi, my father was diagnosed with carcinoma right colon, features are suggestive of well-differentiated mucinous papillary adenocarcinoma of the colon with metastasis to the lymph node and treated with extended radical right hemicolectomy side to side ileocolic anastomosis done under GA one year back followed by chemotherapy. We need a second opinion as his blood report reveals a presence of 17.9 ng/mL of carcinoembryonic antigen. Can you please suggest me a good hospital in Bangalore with less cost? The previous doctor suggested a PET CT scan.
As per my understanding, your father is suffering from carcinoma of the right colon with metastasis to lymph node and treated surgically and chemotherapy. Once any cancer which has spread to the lymph nodes it means it is stage 3 where the prognosis is not so good. But still consult an oncologist. Hope our answer helps you. can cervical cancer cause b12 deficiency?
Female | 44
No, cervical cancer does not directly cause B12 deficiency. However, some cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy, may affect the absorption of vitamin B12 in the body, leading to a deficiency. It is important to monitor B12 levels in cancer patients undergoing treatment and supplement as necessary to prevent deficiency.

PET-CT scan impression report shows. 1. Hypermetabolic spiculated mass in lower lobe of right lung. 2. Hypermetabolic right hilar and sub carinal lymph nodes. 3. Hypermetabolic nodule in left adrenal gland and hypodense lesion in left kidney 4. hypermetabolic multiple lytic sclerotic lesions in axial & appendicular skeleton. Lesion in proximal end of femur is susceptible for pathological fracture. which stage the cancer might be in.? How far the cancer has spread?
Male | 40
The findings from this PET-CT scan suggest the presence of multiple hypermetabolic (actively metabolizing) lesions in various parts of the body. This pattern of findings raises concerns about the possibility of metastatic cancer, meaning that cancer may have spread from its original site to other areas of the body. The exact stage and extent of cancer would require further evaluation by an oncologist from the best cancer hospital in India, including additional tests and imaging.
