If you have any bruising and are worried about infection there are some things to look out for. An infected bruise may become more swollen, red, warm, or painful. If you notice these signs then it could be infected. Gently clean the bruise, apply a clean dressing, and keep an eye on it. If in doubt, get it looked at.
