Sometimes when I’m in a certain position and I cough or laugh hard my kidney will have a quick sharp pain. It has happened twice today and I noticed it about a month ago I would say but it’s not often. Should I be concerned about this? It is giving me anxiety.
Female | 18
You may have "referred pain" from kidneys. Sometimes, coughing or laughing hard moves kidneys slightly, causing sharp pain. This could be a kidney stone or muscle strain near the kidney. To ease anxiety, drink water and avoid motions triggering pain. If pain continues or worsens, contact a nephrologist for evaluation.

Stone formation in the kidney can cause pain in the back, groin, or lower abdomen, nausea, and blood in the urine. Insufficient drinking water and particular diet habits can bring about the development of stones. Drinking enough water, not eating foods that are high in oxalates such as spinach, nuts, and chocolate, and getting professional advice are among the key points for further treatment.

The patient have diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and has been experiencing bloating of body and milky white color urine
Female | 52
Unpleasantly, finding swelling and discolored urine can be scary, mostly with continuing kidney disease. The blame for fluid retention or alteration of kidney tasks can be the reason for these symptoms. It’s very important, therefore, to always take enough fluid, be moderate salt, and eat a balanced diet. In connection with what has been noted above, it must be emphasized that other ALDs should be taken into consideration and the need for closer scrutiny must be communicated to your healthcare provider.

Creatinine level increase
Male | 26
An increase in creatinine levels in the blood could indicate that your kidneys are not functioning properly. Symptoms are often not present at the beginning of the disease but as it progresses you can experience tiredness and suffer nausea. Common causes are dysfunction of kidneys, dehydration, and certain medicines. To reduce creatinine levels, it is necessary to drink a lot of water, consume a healthy diet, and take medications as prescribed by a nephrologist.
