You might be facing the problem of irregular periods. This can be the effect of irregular menstrual cycle balance, which is caused by hormonal imbalances, stress, or health issues. It’s necessary proper management of your menstruation cycle and the entire case including the rest of the symptoms you might be having. See a gynecologist for further evaluation and counseling.

I had sex in jan 20 and I got periods on Feb 3 and now in March I didn't got my periods still
Female | 21
Missed periods don't always mean pregnancy. Stress, weight fluctuations, or hormones out of balance could cause it too. Feeling queasy or tender breasts can indicate pregnancy though. But a pregnancy test or gynecologist visit helps figure out what's happening.

I began taking the contraceptive pill Hana on 8th June before my period has started and wanted to know how long before I am protected
Female | 31
When you start taking the contraceptive pill, there’s something you should know: it won’t protect you right away. It takes about seven days to start working. While you’re waiting for it to kick in, make sure to use an extra form of protection such as condoms so that pregnancy doesn’t occur. Some people may get mild side effects like headaches or feeling sick when they first try this type of birth control but these usually go away with time if taken properly.

I'm 5/6 months pregnancy, haven't gone to a clinic , and my boyfriend got an an infection through me, what could be the cause '
Female | 22
During the phase when you are 5/6 months pregnant, you gave your guy an infection through you. STIs can be a likely cause, for example, chlamydia or gonorrhea. You should seek timely care if you develop symptoms - a painful or burning sensation while urinating, an unexpected discharge, or soreness. The priority for the two of you is the testing and treatment carried out by a gynecologist/urologist so they can properly address any potential complications and ensure the well-being of your baby.

I have unprotected sex on 3rd day of period but he finished outside. Should i buy emergency contraception?
Female | 27
Certainly, you should take the pill of emergency birth control maximum in 72 hours since an unprotected sex to avoid unwanted pregnancy. I recommend that you consult a gynecologist for more directions and to get on various procedures.

I am a 24 year old female with no known health defects that I know of. Occasionally I suffer from a severe lower stomach cramp followed by severe constipation, followed by severe nausea (with throw up). One of these episodes lead me to faint. This normally happens when I'm on my period, and sometimes they don't. I am roughly 165 LBS and I'm 5'3. My diet isn't the best but it's not too shitty.
Female | 24
You look like you might be afflicted with a serious case of menstrual cycle cramps that can, in some cases, lead to constipation and nausea. Stress, as well as physical pain, can lead to a fainting spell. This pain, as well as stress, can't be relieved by following these symptoms. The symptoms can be reduced by keeping your body hydrated, eating food high in fiber, and using pain relievers similar to ibuprofen. What you want to do on your end is to get a proper consultation with the gynecologist to learn about alternative reasons and treatments.

Female | 25
Hormonal fluctuations can cause this occurrence. Taking medication not prescribed to you, like Regestrone, may affect your menstrual cycle. Your next period might arrive sooner or later than expected. It's crucial to avoid consuming any drugs without medical consultation. If you have worries, consulting a gynecologist is advisable for personalized advice.

When should I take a pregnancy test being 11 days late and sexually active?
Female | 16
If 11 days have passed since the date of the expected period but you have done the love deeds, it is a good idea to check whether you are pregnant. Irregular periods and being sexually active are among the most common signs of pregnancy. You can be pregnant if you haven't used a condom while you have sex. Pregnancy tests that you can do at home are an accurate method to find out. The tests reveal pregnancy hormones in your urine.

The dark discharge of blood during pregnancy can indicate a variety of things. For instance, it might be implantation bleeding, pregnancy "normal" changes in the cervix, or very rarely, a concern. To ease your worries and make sure everything is okay, reach out to your gynecologist. They will be there to assist you and to give you the best tips for your situation.

Ectopic pregnancy treatment
Female | 23
Ectopic pregnancy means a fertilized egg grows in the wrong place. Often, it is in a fallopian tube. The symptoms include sharp pain in the area around your belly. You may bleed from your vagina. Another symptom is pain in your shoulder. Not treating it can be very dangerous. The typical treatment is taking medication. Another option is surgery to remove the ectopic pregnancy. This protects your health. If you are having these symptoms, talk to a gynecologist.

Why my vagina is white discharge so much and smell so foul and so much stomach pain
Female | 19
A yeast infection might explain your symptoms. With this condition, thick white discharge and an unpleasant odor often occur in the vaginal area. Abdominal discomfort frequently accompanies yeast infections too. Certain factors like antibiotic use or tight clothing can disrupt the body's natural balance, leading to overgrowth of yeast. Over-the-counter antifungal creams can be effective treatments for restoring balance and clearing the infection.

The first day of my last period was April 1st and my expected ovulation date was April 17th. I had sex on the 13th/14th and took plan B in the morning of the 14th; I had sex again on the 19th/20th and took plan B on the morning of the 20th and I had sex on the 28th and took the plan B immediately. I am not on any contraceptive medication and my partner pulled out before ejaculating - so he said. I washed up immediately and took the pills. My period is late now and I don’t want to be pregnant. I have taken about 6 pregnancy test and they were all negative, not even a faint line of positive which is relieve. But my period is a day late and I’m worried. I took a test this morning and it was still negative. I feel tired, bloated, and I urinate frequently. What do I do?
Female | 26
Stress can make your period late. Plan B can also make your cycle different, and make your period late. Feeling tired, bloated, and peeing a lot could be from hormone changes or UTIs. Stay calm, wait a little longer, and keep watching for signs. If you are still worried, talk to a gynecologist.

I had n intercourse without protection on 5th day (19 june 2024 ) of my periods and I think it was my safe zone.. But still I ate unwanted 72 within 24 hrs and yesterday night bleeding occurred how many days will this bleeding stop? And is it normal?
Female | 25
No need to panic, hemorrhaging and all the confusion you felt after taking unwanted 72 are more common than you think. The blood you're currently seeing may most likely be the emergency contraceptive pill. It's normal to experience irregular bleeding or spotting after using it. This bleeding should stop within a few days, usually 3 to 5. However, if it drags on and becomes more severe, you should better get in touch with a gynecologist.

Why did my period days changed from 7-4 days
Female | 13
Changes in the length of your menstrual period are quite normal and can be affected by hormonal fluctuations, stress, diet, exercise, age, and even the use of birth control. It's common for period days to change from month to month. But if you experience significant or concerning changes the consult a gynecologist for evaluation.

If there is bleeding for 1 week after taking the I pill ( contraceptive) and cramps for approximately 4-5 days, can it be pregnancy?
Female | Diksha Saxena
If you are bleeding after having taken an I pill (contraceptive) for a week with pains it could be that you are not pregnant yet or that it is due to something different. This discharge and pain may be a side effect of the pill or even a hormonal problem, but it might naively happen to be among the early symptoms of pregnancy. If you are worried, the best way to keep track of your symptoms and to see your gynecologist is to see them.

I am pregnant in 9 weeks. At my last scan, they said I have a possible hematoma with dimmensions 8/5 mm. They said it is small and nothing to worry about. Also I had no bleeding or brown discharge. So what should I do?
Female | 20
If your doctor has told you that the hematoma is small and not a cause for concern, then it is likely that they have assessed the situation carefully and do not see any immediate risks to your pregnancy.
