It's understandable to feel concerned after the events you described. Symptoms like an upset stomach, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, and loose stools can be caused by various factors, including stress, dietary changes, or even a minor gastrointestinal infection. While the withdrawal method can reduce pregnancy risk, it is not foolproof. If these symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend consulting a gynecologist for personalized advice. They can assess your condition properly and offer solutions.

I had a delayed menstrual cycle.. after 54 days.. my age is 42. What's the reason?
Female | 42
A delayed menstrual cycle can be influenced by various factors, especially at 42 years of age. Common reasons include hormonal fluctuations, stress, changes in weight, or underlying health conditions. Symptoms may vary, including irregular bleeding or discomfort. To address this, consider maintaining a healthy lifestyle, managing stress, and tracking your cycle. It's important to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice and to rule out any significant concerns.

I am a 19 year old female who had intercourse 6 weeks ago after which immediately I took a plan b pill, and this morning I started throwing up, and my period just ended last night, my question is am I pregnant? And is there any pill I can use that’s available in Nigeria after 6 weeks already?
Female | 19
Your recent vomiting could be due to various reasons, including hormonal changes or even stress. Importantly, the effectiveness of emergency contraception like Plan B diminishes over time, especially after six weeks. A pregnancy test can provide clarity; if positive, consulting a healthcare professional is crucial for tailored guidance. Unfortunately, there isn't a pill specifically for terminating a pregnancy available after this time frame. I highly recommend visiting a gynecologist to discuss your symptoms and explore your options. They can give you the best advice based on your situation.

Hi so I’ve had this pain in my right side for probably just over a year now. It stays like in my groin/hip area And it gets so uncomfortable that sometimes I can’t lie down on it or put pressure I’ve been to the hospital and they all say it’s nothing. It’s not my appendix. But I’ve been on the waiting list for 9 months now on the nhs to see a gynae.
Female | 24
I assume that you're on the left side with the discomfort in your hip/groin joint. Hence, you must consult a gynecologist to get a proper diagnosis of your condition.

Female | 23
You may be suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction. The issue can occur in people of different ages, not only married ones. The muscles around your hips and vagina may be stiff or weak, leading to the pain and drops after you pee. One way can be pelvic floor exercises or physical therapy. Keep your body fit and contact a gynecologist if you need more help.

High blood pressure and 31 weeks pregnant
Female | 22
Well in that case contact your gynecologist immediately. They may prescribe medication to control your bp, recommend bed rest or reduced activity, and monitor your condition closely. Maintain a low-sodium diet, stay hydrated, and manage stress.
High bp during pregnancy can pose risks, so follow your doctor's guidance for a healthy outcome for you and your baby.

I have recently had unprotected sex thrice. I also consumed ipill all those times the next morning itself. The last time I had unprotected sex was on 15th May and ipill on 16th may morning. Past 2-3 days I have been getting very bad cramps in my lower abdomen and I'm bleeding (spotting) blood clots. I have PCOD and I do not get my periods. I get it very rarely, twice or thrice in a year. I don't remember my last period date. Are these the side effects of the ipill or are there any chances of pregnancy/miscarriage?
Female | 23
The cramps and bleeding with blood clots might be caused by the ipill. It can change menstrual bleeding at times. However, because your periods are irregular and you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, other possible reasons should not be left out. These signs could also result from hormonal variations or maybe pregnancy is on the way. See a gynecologist who will help find out what these mean.

Heavy periods not stopping
Female | 20
Periods can be heavy, and it’s concerning when they don’t stop. You might bleed a lot, need many pads, and feel tired and in pain. The causes can be hormonal changes, fibroids, or issues with the uterus lining. Treatment depends on the cause—iron pills for anemia, medication to balance hormones, or surgery for fibroids. Your gynecologist will help with diagnosis and treatment.

After 45days of no periods, I had my USG that suggested PCOD with both ovaries bulky then I started on Deviry, after consulting a doctor. 2days prior to the start of medication I was involved in a protected sex for once. Now it's been 4days since last dose of Deviry, but still no periods. Is there any possibility that I might get pregnant? Please do reply
Female | 30
After taking deviry tablet to get periods you have to give at least 12to 15days for withdrawal bleed. As you had protected sex just once chances of pregnancy is less.

Your young boy unintentionally struck his mother near her C-section wound. Tugging on stitches often brings discomfort. For relief, she might take acetaminophen pills. Yet if pain worsens, or redness and pus appear, consult her gynecologist.

Female | 22
Vaginal discharge is normal, but if it is of a watery consistency and drenching your clothes, you might have the condition increased vaginal secretions. The reason for this could be hormonal changes, infections, or even other reasons. Always go for breathable underwear, chemical-free products with no scents, and keep yourself clean. If the problem does not go away, then it is good to talk to a gynecologist.

It sounds like you’re experiencing several distressing symptoms, which can be concerning. Delayed periods can occur for various reasons, including stress or hormonal changes. Morning sickness, nausea, and bloating may suggest early pregnancy or gastrointestinal issues. The mixed results from the pregnancy test could indicate hormonal fluctuations, so it's best to consult a gynecologist for accurate testing. Staying hydrated and eating small, balanced meals may help alleviate some discomfort.

I am 32 years married woman and this time I missed my period. I have cramps in back but period still missing. I haven't done unprotected intercourse. So please suggest me medicine which can induce my period. I have pooja at my home that's why I am little worried. NOTE- I am a lactating mother so suggest me according to that.
Female | 32
The omission of a period can be a source of anxiety. Even if you haven't had unprotected sex, other factors like stress, hormonal changes, or some medications may cause a missed period. The cramps in your back may be the result of your menstrual cycle. Don't rely on medicine, focus on calming down, eating healthy, and drinking enough fluids. If your period continues to be late, you may want to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice.
