The omission of a period can be a source of anxiety. Even if you haven't had unprotected sex, other factors like stress, hormonal changes, or some medications may cause a missed period. The cramps in your back may be the result of your menstrual cycle. Don't rely on medicine, focus on calming down, eating healthy, and drinking enough fluids. If your period continues to be late, you may want to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice.

I took unwanted 72 pill twice a month(we also used condoms) (one on 28 Feb and another on 11th march) of my cycle. My period due date was 20th March and it's one day late. What can be the reason behind it and what can be done? Can I still be pregnant?

Female | 25

Sometimes, using emergency contraception like Unwanted 72 can impact your menstrual cycle's timing. Stress, illness, routine changes - these factors can also delay your period's arrival. With the dates you provided and the condom usage, pregnancy seems unlikely. However, waiting a bit longer may yield your expected period. If concerns persist, a pregnancy test could offer reassurance.

I noticed that I was pregnant so I took the first abortion pills and still have the pregnancy symptoms and am feeling something inside my Belle

Female | 29

You should contact your gynecologist for a medical examination at your earliest convenience. Self-administration of the abortion pills could be incomplete and create several complications. The sensation that you have in your belly may be a result of an incomplete termination or some other medical disease.

I am pregnant in 9 weeks. At my last scan, they said I have a possible hematoma with dimmensions 8/5 mm. They said it is small and nothing to worry about. Also I had no bleeding or brown discharge. So what should I do?

Female | 20

If your doctor has told you that the hematoma is small and not a cause for concern, then it is likely that they have assessed the situation carefully and do not see any immediate risks to your pregnancy.

4 months of missed periods at 21 years old is abnormal. All these appear to be connected with weight loss, hair fall and stress. Set up an appointment with a doctor to review possible causes and possible treatment.

On Aug 2023 I got periods with clots and heavy bleeding and same happend in next mo th from then until.now I not got my periods can u explain. Why if I move or sit bleeding with clots come so can u explain after heavy bleeding I'm.not getting periods

Female | 23

You might have a disorder called menorrhagia, that is having heavy periods with clots. This problem may be due to hormonal imbalances or issues with the uterus. The heavy bleeding and clots you experienced may have caused some disturbances in your normal menstrual cycle. Consulting a doctor is essential for further evaluation and management. Treatments including hormonal therapy and procedures to deal with heavy bleeding can be the options that these doctors will mention to you.

I have missed my periods for 4 months and my stomach has become tight and bigger but I am not constipated. What should I do now?

Female | 39

If you miss your period for 4 months straight and notice a bloated bigger belly, you might be pregnant. Alternatively, it might be due to hormonal imbalance or other medical problems. To confirm, take a home pregnancy test. If results are negative, visit a doctor for further investigation.

I'd some take misoprostol yesterday and bleed only that day. Can she take it the next day

Female | 27

Taking misoprostol often causes bleeding, so no need for concern if that happens. No additional doses are required the following day. The medication works by prompting discharge, which accounts for the bleeding. It's crucial to rest up and drink plenty of fluids. However, if bleeding becomes excessive or you experience dizziness, seek medical attention promptly.
