I’m a 55 year old female. Have undergone bariatric surgery in 2014. I weigh 70 kgs now (earlier 92kgs). I do not have any diabetes or blood pressure. My heart rate is always on the higher side. Especially since a year. I’m taking deplatt cv 10 since October 2020 once daily as prescribed by a cardiologist. My angiogram shows 40% blockage in the LAD. KINDLY ADVISE.
Female | 55
Please have a healthy lifestyle like eat healthy, do exercise daily, sleep well ,stop smoking and drinking if you do etc. Stay away from stress and tension to reduce your heart rates. You can also go to a cardiologist for discussing more treatments that can work for you. I hope this answer proved useful.

I underwent angioplasty 15 days back. Can i do following? Driving a car Walking Exercise Pranayama
Male | 54
Driving may resume within 1-2 weeks if feeling well. You can take short walks, but avoid strenuous exercise initially. Pranayama's benefits await, yet start gently, listening closely. Should chest pain or dizziness arise, cease activity and rest. You can also talk to your cardiologist for advice.

i want to show my father's ecg
Male | 55
I see you have your father's ECG results. An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a very simple and easy-to-run test that shows the heart's electrical activity, and it is called an ECG. Besides, if the ECG shows such disorders as too fast or too slow heartbeats, it can be the reason for heart problems. A heart attack or myocardial infarction may occur because of the symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath, or dizziness. It can be a result of hypertension that is related to either the heart itself or to stress. Other possible remedies are lifestyle changes including healthy dieting, regular exercising, and stress reduction. It is always necessary to contact the doctor to get your condition assessed and the treatment prescribed.

Is 124-135bpm Normal for a casual walk I have anxiety too I am 17 years old and weigh 55kg I’ve seen some spikes to 150bpm but only for a couple seconds and I believe that’s anxiety
Male | 17
Being a bit nervous during a walk is okay. Your heart rate going up to 124-135bpm is normal. Even a spike to 150bpm happens sometimes. Anxiety makes your heart beat faster. Use relaxation methods like deep breaths or being mindful. If you feel dizzy or have chest pains, contact a cardiologist.

I am 38 years old male runner and training for marathon,, but on some days while running I lose my energy and feel dizzy and unable to continue, sudden hunger and my strength completely fades for about a quarter of an hour and then I continue. I noticed that my blood pressure drops through examination (80/40) so I did blood tests, ECG, chest x-ray, sinus x-ray and everything is good. What can be the cause, and what should I check next?
Male | 38
These symptoms could be due to factors like dehydration, low blood sugar, electrolyte imbalance, overexertion, or cardiovascular issues not detected by routine tests. You should consult a cardiologist with expertise in athletes to evaluate your training regimen, nutrition, and overall health for personalized guidance

It seems like you're struggling with breathing and eating. Those food pieces that get stuck in your throat and the burning sensation in your chest and throat may be caused by acid reflux. The pain in your left hand and dizziness might be signs of heart issues. It's better to go to a cardiologist sooner rather than later to have your heart checked and get some tips on managing acid reflux.

I have diagnosed with positive TMT and also positive STRESS THALLIUM test. angiography is done and found that left artery is 100% block, the rest two are fine. One Dr. suggests that STUNTING can be done, while the other senior cadriologist Dr. said that only by pass is the option, kindly suggest and guide.
As per my understanding, your TMT and STRESS THALLIUM are positive, and the coronary angiogram also shows that your lad is 100% block. Lad is a very important artery, so the right option for you is to take a second opinion. Since you are having two diverse opinions regarding the same, to confirm what exactly should be done, only on clinical examination of the patient, patients general condition associated comorbidities and evaluating all the reports the cardiologist will be able to guide correctly. Male | 64
The normal limit of blood pressure in the age group above 64 is a reading of one thirty over seventy. Nevertheless, regular blood pressure monitoring of your dad should be continued. It is always advisable to seek advice from a cardiologist or general physician for any worries concerning blood pressure management and stating the correct dosage and frequency of treatment.

If you’re experiencing frequent headaches, weakness, dizziness, and cravings for ice, possible causes could include dehydration from not drinking enough water or anemia from iron deficiency. To improve your symptoms, try drinking more water and eating iron-rich foods like spinach and red meat. If symptoms persist, consider seeking medical attention from a cardiologist.

I am 62 year old. I have been taking medicine for last 4-5 year. Heart pumping was set at 42% from last 3 year , but I had got heat attack 2 times and now pumping work at 30% and No blockage, now what should I will do ?
Male | 62
You should consult a cardiologist as soon as possible to determine how well your heart functions. A drop from 42% pumping to the level of 30% is considerable, and it may call for a modification in medication or other therapy. Heart health must be taken care of by the specialist to avoid further heart attacks.

Your dad, who is 71 years old, experienced an ischemic stroke 14 days ago. As a result, he lost sensation on his right side and has some speech difficulties. He is currently taking medication for his condition. After the stroke, he experienced nausea and chest discomfort. Although he underwent cardiac tests, all the results came back normal. The cause of his chest discomfort and burning sensation is unclear at this point. I would like to know what may be the causes and whats the next step to take.
Male | 71
The causes of your father’s chest pain and burning sensations include acid reflux, anxiety or medication side effect. But considering his past medical history of ischemic stroke and age, a cardiac cause must be excluded. I suggest a cardiologist referral for further evaluation and treatment. He should continue with the medication used to treat his stroke and have regular visits from a health care provider.

I have a heart rate of around 96 during resting, and could rise up to 110 or 111 during resting. I calculated this through Apple Watch.
Male | 15
The heart rate between 60-100 beats per minute is normal, but 96-111 BPM is not normal during the resting period and may indicate an underlying condition. You should consult a cardiologist for an evaluation if you additionally have these symptoms.

What would it take for me to be able to have a lead pellet removed from the lymph node so rounding the main aorta of your heart. With MRI results show ing to be a sixteenth of an inch from said aorta. The incident had happened in the summer of 1998. I'll be 40 in a couple of months. I'm sick of being afraid to breathe.
Male | 39
I know you are worried about the lead pellet that is close to your aorta. In such situations, only a specialist can determine the best course of action. The closeness to such a life-saving place is really indeed severe. Chest pain, breathing problems, or exhaustion are some of the symptoms to look for. Seeking medical help right away is vital for a proper assessment and the recommendation of treatment options.

Hello, Can I ask if what should I do if my mom's blood pressure didn't go lower than 170/70. She's a dialysis patient. But since last night, her bp is 180/60 or 190/70.
Female | 62
It occurs when pressure builds inside blood vessels. There could be several causes – stress, kidney disease, or not adhering to the dialysis routine. Unchecked, it can lead to heart strain, even damage arteries. You should promptly alert your mom's doctors. They might alter medications or propose lifestyle changes.
