I recently switched medications from hctz to chlorthalidone. Should there be a difference typically?
Male | 40
Both HCTZ and chlorthalidone are used to treat high blood pressure and water retention. But chlorthalidone is known to have a longer duration of action and a higher potency compared to HCTZ. It is recommended to consult your cardiologist if you are experiencing any changes in your blood pressure or other symptoms after switching medications.

I have a heart rate of around 96 during resting, and could rise up to 110 or 111 during resting. I calculated this through Apple Watch.
Male | 15
The heart rate between 60-100 beats per minute is normal, but 96-111 BPM is not normal during the resting period and may indicate an underlying condition. You should consult a cardiologist for an evaluation if you additionally have these symptoms.

What would it take for me to be able to have a lead pellet removed from the lymph node so rounding the main aorta of your heart. With MRI results show ing to be a sixteenth of an inch from said aorta. The incident had happened in the summer of 1998. I'll be 40 in a couple of months. I'm sick of being afraid to breathe.
Male | 39
I know you are worried about the lead pellet that is close to your aorta. In such situations, only a specialist can determine the best course of action. The closeness to such a life-saving place is really indeed severe. Chest pain, breathing problems, or exhaustion are some of the symptoms to look for. Seeking medical help right away is vital for a proper assessment and the recommendation of treatment options.

Male | 37
A blood pressure reading of 129/83 will most likely be within the normal range. On the other hand, talk to a doctor if you have any misgivings with your blood pressure because you have underlying conditions. You consult a cardiologist to have a comprehensive evaluation and treatment for your hypertension.

Yes, ingesting 15 grams of propafenone is more than enough to turn into a dangerous medical situation. The dose of propafenone overdose has various effects including dizziness, airway difficulty, cardio palmar discomfort, and arrhythmia. Early recognition and prompt medical attention become crucial for an overdose case. I recommend having a cardiologist on board for more comprehensive evaluation and therapy guidelines.

What treatment would you suggest to person with LVEP 10% still the person is walking and talking normally
As per my understanding, the patient is having LVEF 10% and is walking and talking normally (leading a normal active healthy life). To me it seems to one of the rare case where a person having LVEF 10% and leading active healthy life. You should consult a cardiologist and get the ECHO repeated either there may a mistake in the previous report or if it's a miracle then it should be studied further. Hello, I have been having pain in my right shoulder and in my chest around my heart area, but when I take my prescribed medication for my heart. It doesn't alleviate the pain. I had a massive heart attack back in 2011 and I currently have a defibrillator, so now I take Aspirin, Lisenapril and a couple of other meds, but I notice that I still have pain on my left side which makes it kinda hard to breathe. I work as a dishwasher and I don't do a lot of heavy lifting, so I don't know what it could be. I can barely lift my arm because of it. Please help!

Male | 62
You should consult a cardiologist as soon as possible to determine how well your heart functions. A drop from 42% pumping to the level of 30% is considerable, and it may call for a modification in medication or other therapy. Heart health must be taken care of by the specialist to avoid further heart attacks.
