You might have what is called seborrheic keratosis. These are common noncancerous growths of the skin. They can be brown and look like they're stuck on the skin. They may be itchy but are usually not painful. You can have just one or a whole group. Their cause is unknown. They are seen more often as people age. If it’s been bothering you, see a dermatologist. They can remove them for you.

You may have eczema. It makes your skin turn red, — it also spreads. What works for one person may not work for another so maybe you should try putting on some lotion that has ceramides or colloidal oatmeal in it to calm down the itching. Ask the dermatologist about methotrexate if it’s bad enough—but there are other things they could give instead like corticosteroids or phototherapy treatments too.
