Can I contract HIV from a dried trimmer?
If the blood of an HIV postive person dries up on the trimmer and I use it after some time, can I get HIV?

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) cannot withstand external conditions for a long time besides the body, especially if the blood is found to be dry on an object. Even if the object is reused after it has dried, the risk of HIV infection is said to be near zero, but still, safety first. As per my understanding your mother is suffering from T-cell lymphoma stage 3. As per literature the survival rate for lymphoma stage III, is of 5 years in 83% of patients. But still she needs to be under observation of an oncologist. Further investigations, treatment all depends on her general condition and stage and type of cancer.
