Can I find relief for severe headaches?
I face severe headache problem
Neurosurgeon
Answered on 30th Dec '24
Myocardial infarctions are the leading cause of the medical field's death, which can be traced back to a bunch of varieties like stress, migraines, and sinus troubles. Common signs and symptoms of the disorder are a pulsating or beating headache, being sensitive to light, and the on-and-off feeling of nausea. Relieving the pain always goes hand in hand with getting enough water, doing away with stress through relaxation techniques, and having regular sleep patterns. Over-the-counter pain medication can, likewise, be helpful. However, if hyperemia develops or worsens, consult a neurologist.

Multiple sclerosis is a condition that impacts the brain and spinal cord. You might experience numbness, tingling, balance issues. MS symptoms include word forgetfulness and walking troubles. Doctors aren't sure what causes it, but believe the immune system damages nerve coverings. Seeing a neurologist is crucial if you suspect MS for testing or treatment.

The time was 2 years ago, one day without knowing it, I felt a biting muscle above the left ankle. Then little by little after a few days the muscles started biting down to the knee and some pain in the tendon with it seemed as if the tendon was getting tight. In such a way, it gradually became the same condition as the completely fit. He also started having problems with the nerves in his head. Now the right side has the same problem. Now I feel some problem in the stomach and toilet. But no problem with urination yet. Why are they happening? And now what should I do please tell me!!!! I have seen two doctors. One says that the spinal cord is directly caused. Another says that they are caused by impingement on the spine. Treatment is not working.!!!!
Male | 18
These symptoms may be because of something in your spine, or spinal cord that is putting pressure on the nerves. You might have been through tests already. The body part essential for treatment will need to be precisely identified. If the current treatment is not helpful, need to find the right specialist so there is a chance of a second opinion or neurologist and orthopedic doctor for further evaluation and guidance can be provided.

Male | 28
The ailments you mentioned, such as pounding pain, sleepiness, and fatigue are normal for a concussion. Drink no alcohol and take it easy, but don't sleep now. See if you can manage to stay awake for a few hours and check your symptoms. Go to the doctor in case the symptoms become more serious.

You experience stuttering, where speaking smoothly feels difficult. Maybe you feel nervous or tired. For some people, stuttering improves on its own, especially children. However, therapies, and techniques exist to support fluent speech. Speech therapy is one option. It's crucial to discuss with a speech therapist or doctor to find the appropriate path for you.

I am a 14 year old female and i am having a small migrane on the left side on my head. just now when i was sitting down with my head slightly tilted a clear liquid of a few drops came out from my nose, i searched it up and it said something about CSF liquid? some liquid surrounding the brain or what. I just want to check if its nothing serious and if i can continue my day
Female | 14
Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) is a clear liquid that surrounds the brain. Sometimes, a small tear in the tissue around the brain can cause this fluid to leak through your nose. This may cause pressure or headaches on one side of your head. It’s important to rest and avoid activities that could worsen your condition. If your headache gets worse or you feel very unwell, visit a neurologist.

My baby was diagnosed with cp still waiting for MRI scan so I want stem therapy for her
Female | 2
CP could result from an injury to the brain before, during or after birth. Indications could be difficulty moving around, rigid muscles and lack of coordination. Although stem cell therapy is still under study, there is no enough evidence supporting its use in CP cases. Treatment plan should be guided by the results of an MRI scan. Let us wait for the scan and then we can talk about what to do next.

I have tried physiotherapy as well but the pain seems to be increasing. Kindly help me with what treatment should I take up and from where?

I have migraine and Hello. OK, so the symptoms are my headache has become more frequent, like more frequent. Before it used to come like in two weeks once, but now it is like in a gap of two days maximum something. And it has become more intense, very intense. It has become like, you know, very, very much intense. Secondly, the painkiller doesn't seem to help at all. Before it used to work, now it doesn't help.Lastly, not exactly Lastly, it lasts much longer. You know like Pehle, it used, it used to go away in one day, but now it lasts for two to three days. And then I'm also experiencing ear pain which is behind my ears also and then inside the ear also, like my whole ear is paining with ear behind also. Then I get extremely nauseous, OK, and then sometimes even a bit dizzy. And then I have sensitivity to light and sound OK, motion sensitivity one side.It paints more and there's more frequent other side. It is not frequent. Doesn't mean it is not there. It happens other side also. It pains but one side is more frequent. And then while in headache I do try to sleep it off, but due to pain sleeping it off becomes difficult and if by chance I get sleep then there are chances it will go away. And then after it goes away still there is weakness, like I feel extreme weakness. What can it be?
Female | 18
The type of headaches you are having, which more often than not, are very intense, with earache, dizziness, and hypersensitivity to light and sound, all symptoms suggest a likely migraine. Migraines occur when your brain is hypersensitive to the things that your body would normally be able to cope with such as stress, lack of sleep, or even something you eat. To achieve the goal of migraine control, you can use a headache diary, stay hydrated, be well-rested, and avoid the triggers. Even if the symptoms get more serious or become a major obstacle in your everyday activities, it's always a good move to seek medical advice from a healthcare practitioner.

I am suffering from hemifacial spasm. I want to cure it permanently. Pls help
Female | 38
A hemifacial spasm causes one side of your face to twitch involuntarily. This happens when a nerve gets irritated in your cheek area. Although uncontrolled facial twitching is unpleasant, treatment options like Botox injections or surgery exist. These can help relax the affected nerve, stopping the spasms. Such treatments aim to provide relief, improving your quality of life. So do not lose hope, as permanent solutions are available.

Have been having constant headaches for weeks now. Especially when I wake up in the morning. The headache is one the two sides of my head, most time one sided, most time all around my head or forehead. The headache gets worse when I sleep and wake up and in the evening before bed. I feel my head pounding.
Female | 27
Experiencing constant headaches for weeks, particularly upon waking up, with pain on one or both sides of the head, forehead, and sometimes all around the head, could be due to tension headaches, migraines, cluster headaches, sinusitis, sleep related issues, neck problems, or dehydration. Since it is severe please consult a neurologist or headache specialist in your locality.
