Can I Sleep on Side Post-Robotic Hysterectomy & Bladder Tack?

Can I sleep on my side after week after robotic hysterectomy and having my bladder tacked

After a robotic hysterectomy with bladder tacking, it’s generally advisable to avoid sleeping on your side for at least a few weeks. Side sleeping might cause discomfort or strain on your healing tissues. You may experience sensations like tightness or pain in your abdomen if moving into that position too soon. Instead, try resting on your back with pillows for support. Always listen to your body; if discomfort persists, it’s wise to consult a gynecologist. They can offer personalized advice based on your specific recovery progress.

Is mifestad 10 effective as an emergency contraceptive pill? It's a pill made from Vietnam.

Female | 23

As for Mifestad 10, it is not an emergency birth control pill. Emergency contraceptive pills can either contain levonorgestrel or ulipristal acetate. If you have had unprotected sex, it's best to use a recognized emergency contraceptive pill to prevent pregnancy. Remember the greater the time between unprotected intercourse and the taking of emergency contraception, the less effective it is.

Hey doc started my periods early this month on date 17 and ended up on 20th then on had unprotected sex on 22nd am I safe

Female | 19

The 17th starting and the 20th ending period is a pretty normal cycle. Having unprotected sex on the 22nd might expose you to the risk of getting pregnant. So, watch for possible symptoms like nausea, fatigue, and breast tenderness. If you're concerned, think about using emergency contraception or taking a pregnancy test.

I recently had sex 6 days before my ovulating day, a day before my fertile window. I took a take action pill the day after having sex the earliest i could. I took it at about 9 A.M. fast forward the day after ovulation, I got up and woke up like normal and once I stood up I had dark-red kind of watery blood. At first i thought it was my period, but its watery and my periods are usually thicker and last about 5-7 days. I am still lightly bleeding now, still a dark-red watery-like blood the day after and im wondering if im pregnant or if im just paranoid. I also had cramping, like i usuallt do on my periods. I searched it up and it also said i could just be on my period, and because of the pill, it makes your period lighter/thicker, shorter, etc. Please help.

Female | 16

Emergency contraceptive pills, like the one you took.. can cause changes in the menstrual cycle including lighter or irregular bleeding. The bleeding you are experiencing could be due to the pill or your regular period. It's important to take a pregnancy test if you have concerns about pregnancy.

My name is Upasana and I am 12 weeks pregnant and my doctor suggested me to take progestrone tablet thrice a day .. and yesterday i skipped twice.. and now i am spotting .. what should i do now? I m very much tensed

Female | 31

Spotting happens sometimes when expecting. Your missed progesterone dose likely triggered it. That hormone nurtures the pregnancy. Just resume taking it promptly after remembering. Let your doctor knows about bleeding too. They may want check-ups or tweaks to ensure things progress smoothly.

I had my periods on the 4th till the 6th, since then I've been spotting. This has never happened, is it normal?

Female | 41

Irregular spotting either before or after a period is the result of different factors including hormonal changes or stress, any kind of infection, or pregnancy. It is better to visit a gynecologist for detailed examination of the root of this problem diagnosed and treated.
