Bacterial vaginosis occurs when vaginal bacteria is imbalanced. Lidocaine numbing provides temporary relief, but isn't treatment. Proper diagnosis and medication from a doctor prevents complications. See a gynecologist for bacterial vaginosis - simple numbing won't cure the infection.
