Considering that you had sex on the 7^{th} day of your menstrual cycle and took an oral emergency contraceptive, it is highly unlikely for one to be pregnant. Bleeding after taking an emergency contraceptive pill is normal; it occurs because your body reacts to the increased dosage of hormones in the tablet. It is important to note that skipping one desogestrel pill makes becoming pregnant more likely. As you had sex without using any protection not so long ago, I would advise taking the morning-after pills to avoid getting pregnant. Emergency contraception can either delay or stop ovulation from happening. Keep in mind these tablets work best when taken immediately after having unprotected intercourse. If you’re worried about anything or if anything unusual happens to your body after taking the pill please see a gynecologist as soon as possible.
