Why is my vaginal opening getting bigger suddenly?
Hello, I have a query. I'm a 21-year-old female, and my vaginal opening got a little bigger. But I'm a pure virgin and haven't had sex with my boyfriend yet, though he sometimes fingers me. After my period this month, my vagina suddenly felt bigger.

It's quite normal for the vaginal area to experience changes in size and sensation due to hormonal fluctuations, especially after your menstrual cycle. Engaging in activities like fingering can also contribute to this perception. These changes are generally not a cause for concern. However, if you notice discomfort, unusual discharge, or any persistent changes, it’s best to consult with a gynecologist. They can provide personalized advice and reassurance.

On 26th November I had my last periods...till now no periods and on 12&15th of January I had unprotected sex on 30th January I test for pregnancy it result negative came....and today I'm getting lite brown discharge while I'm gng for urine.....what's the problem..?
Female | 25
It's understandable to be concerned about changes in your menstrual cycle. A missed period, followed by brown discharge, might indicate hormonal fluctuations, stress, or early signs of menstruation. Since your pregnancy test was negative, it's possible that your body is adjusting. However, if the discharge persists or if you experience pain or unusual symptoms, I recommend consulting a gynecologist. They can provide a thorough evaluation and proper guidance tailored to your situation.

I noticed that I was pregnant so I took the first abortion pills and still have the pregnancy symptoms and am feeling something inside my Belle
Female | 29
You should contact your gynecologist for a medical examination at your earliest convenience. Self-administration of the abortion pills could be incomplete and create several complications. The sensation that you have in your belly may be a result of an incomplete termination or some other medical disease.

Please answer this question. I had an intercourse on oct 24th which Includes only anal penetration around 20 sec with no ejaculation at all . No contact with vagina at all.she had her bleedings on Nov 8th ,dec 6th,jan 3rd and Feb 2nd and last for 3+ days. Did urine pregnancy test on Dec 30 with Evening urine and showed negative. And on Jan 29th( 13+ weeks after intercourse ) did an ultrasound scan at a small clinic and they said no pregnancy is identified. Can I believe the results ?. Do I need any another scan. I'm conserning about cryptic pregnancy. Please give me a clear answer and provide some peace to my mind.
Male | 20
Based on your detailed information, it is very unlikely that you are pregnant, especially since you have had regular menstrual cycles and negative pregnancy tests. The ultrasound conducted 13 weeks after the event further supports this. Cryptic pregnancies are rare and typically present with symptoms like missed periods, but you have had normal bleeding. If you remain concerned, it's reasonable to consult a gynecologist to address any lingering worries.

Im a 19 year old female and i want to know how to tell if I'm either having a miscarriage or a cystic pregnancy.
Female | 19
If you are concerned about a possible miscarriage or cystic pregnancy, what you should look out for is the following. If you are having sharp belly pain or heavy bleeding, then this could be a sign of a miscarriage. On the other hand, if you experience mild pain, nausea, or breast tenderness, it may be cystic pregnancy. For a definite answer, it is necessary to go to a gynecologist for proper evaluation and treatment.

i am 21 years old female. i have been getting my periods since December, its February right now, its on and off, for 2 weeks in January i got heavy periods and since then i have been getting spotting on the pads. i met with a gyn and she gave me a medicine called norethindrone acetate, and gave me dosage accordingly, and diagnosed me with PCOD. i haven't been taking the medicine cause I'm not sure if i should. i am also afraid if it has anything to do with pregnancy, i have taken UPTs thrice and they were all negative and my last intercourse was in November. however i have extreme lower back pain and i experience tiredness. i just want answers to whether it is pregnancy given the lower back pain and the spotting for so long? if its not that then can i take the medicine prescribed and it wont be an issue and i wont have any extreme side effects.
Female | 21
Based on your symptoms, it is improbable that you are pregnant because you have taken three negative UPTs and your last intercourse was in November. Your period time may be different because of PCOD. That's why your gynecologist diagnosed you with PCOD. As long as you take the drug recommended by your gynecologist, norethindrone acetate, according to the dose and monitoring for adverse effects, it is ok. But, if the backaches and tiredness continue, then consult your gynecologist again

What if eat Misoprostol in chemical pregnancy any side effects or dangerous? I eat thats why i am asking my beta HCG level was 48 and my last period was on 18th march
Female | 22
It is not good to take Misoprostol in a chemical pregnancy. Misoprostol can make you bleed a lot and have cramps that hurt very much. It can also make you sick. In a chemical pregnancy, the baby does not grow inside the womb properly. Taking Misoprostol can make things worse and harm your health. It is important to talk to your gynecologist about what to do next in your situation.

If someone is 4 weeks pregnant and the conception window shows may 8th-10Th. Is it possible that when they had sex in the 8th they got pregnant or on the 5th?
Female | 25
Indeed you can get pregnant if you had sex on the 8th. Sperm can live inside the body for a few days so if ovulation happened shortly after on the 10th then pregnancy could occur. Some symptoms like a missed period tiredness and tenderness of the breasts may start showing. If you suspect that you are pregnant take it easy a home pregnancy test to confirm.

I’m a 24 year old female and I have been experiencing burning sensation during urination and itchiness after but without discharge or foul smell for the past 3 weeks.I initially thought it was UTI so I was on antibiotics but the symptoms still persisted. What is May be the cause please?
Female | 24
The yeast infection may be the reason for the burning sensation and itching while urinating. Symptoms without discharge or a foul smell may be a sign of a yeast infection. Antibiotics are among the culprits that can provoke yeast infections. You may use the convenient over-the-counter antifungal creams or talk with a urologist for that matter. Cotton panties should always be worn, and tight clothes should be avoided, as they cause itching.

Hi there, I'm a 27 year old woman, and I've been experiencing an unusual change in my menstrual cycle recently. Instead of the usual one period per month, I've been having 3 periods in a month. It's been a bit concerning, and I was wondering if anyone else has gone through something similar or if there's any insight into what might be causing this. I'm hoping to find some advice or information on how to address this issue.

Frequent periods can be due to various factors like hormonal changes, stress, or certain health conditions. Treatments depend on the cause and may include hormonal birth control or hormone-regulating medication. Please consult a gynecologist for personalized advice.

Female | 25
Getting pregnant is possible without sperm entering. You could experience missed periods, tiredness, sickness, or sore breasts if you're pregnant. Late periods don't always mean pregnancy, though. Stress and hormone changes can also cause them. If you're worried, take a home pregnancy test to feel better.

So I noticed these bumpy things around my vaginal opening back in December of 2023. I went to the hospital and the said it was just from rough sex. I saw someone at the clinic and they said it was hpv. Recently I saw another doctor who just said it looked like irritation. I’m not sure now. The bumps are not as prominent as back in December. It’s like raised papillae. Is it vp or hpv? I need help. I took an std test and I was clear for everything including hiv and herpes. 2 doctors said it was irritation and one said it was hpv just by looking at it. It’s not like warts that are brown and prominent. It isn’t noticeable at first but when you touch it you can feel it. I can’t tell if it’s vp or hpv. I need help please.
Female | 18
It's understandable to feel confused with differing opinions from doctors. Since you have seen multiple specialists with different diagnoses, it is best to visit a dermatologist or a gynecologist for a thorough examination and possibly a biopsy if needed. They can provide a more definitive answer and appropriate treatment.
