A few days ago my friend had an open heart surgery, but after a month or two he was called to the hospital again, and was put to sleep on a ventilator and the doctor said that the blood has clotted and compacted, He is put to sleep so that his brain does not suffer any damage. Can she get well and go back home?
Female | 28
I'm sorry to hear about your friend's condition. It sounds like there have been complications after the open-heart surgery, leading to blood clots. These clots can be serious, and the doctors are taking precautions to prevent brain damage. It's important to consult with the cardiologist who performed the surgery and the critical care specialist managing the case to understand the prognosis and next steps. They will be able to give you the best advice regarding her recovery and when she might be able to go home.

Is 15 grams of propafenone dangerous?
Male | 32
Yes, ingesting 15 grams of propafenone is more than enough to turn into a dangerous medical situation. The dose of propafenone overdose has various effects including dizziness, airway difficulty, cardio palmar discomfort, and arrhythmia. Early recognition and prompt medical attention become crucial for an overdose case. I recommend having a cardiologist on board for more comprehensive evaluation and therapy guidelines.

I m 37 my left hand is paining form past 1 week the upper side of my chest is also paining I had consult doctor and had done E.C.G for two times but the report is normal but pain is still continue in the same manner doctor had given medicine and had told to use and see for a month.
Female | 37
It is possible that a more serious underlying condition causes the pain that you are experiencing. For this reason, it is important that you continue to follow up with your doctor to ensure that the pain is not caused by something more serious. Your doctor may recommend further testing, such as an MRI or CT scan, to better understand the cause of your pain. It is also important to watch for any other symptoms that may have developed since the pain began, such as shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, chest pain, or palpitations. These symptoms may indicate a more serious problem.

Hi, I have been experiencing chest pain since Nov'18. Post which I have done 7 ECG test, a stress test and the results were normal. I was advised hyperactivity medicines, however the pain never stopped. I met a Gastroenterologist, who confirmed no issues. Than I met a cardiologist who suggested for 2D echo, did it, it was normal. Then I did sonography, stage 1 fatty liver observed. Than did angiography, no blockages observed, however the blood flow is slow. Now I am left with nothing... The chest pain still persists, post angiography I also feel numbness in my left arm. Don't know what to do. I was recommended following medicines post angiography... strovas Dilzem sr Pan 40mg I have already started following a proper diet. Avoiding junk food, extra salt, oil etc. This has started affecting my work and i am unable to deviate from the thought of the pain
Chest pain can have various causes, even if initial reports appear normal. Potential reasons include:
Musculoskeletal Issues: Strained muscles or costochondritis may cause chest discomfort.
Gastrointestinal Conditions: Acid reflux or gastritis may mimic cardiac pain.
Psychological Factors: Stress and anxiety can contribute to chest pain.
Respiratory Issues:Conditions like pleurisy or inflammation of lung lining.
Nerve Irritation:Conditions affecting nerves in the chest may cause pain.
If chest pain persists or worsens, consult with a cardiologist for a thorough evaluation to rule out serious conditions.

Echogenic focus seen in left ventricle massuring approximately 2.9mm it's normal?
Female | 26
You have an echogenic focus measuring 2.9 mm in the left ventricle - this is often a meaningless discovery that isn’t associated with symptoms. This can happen when there are tiny deposits inside the heart muscle. The heart is still by all means okay with it. Always remember to check it during the regularly scheduled visits to make certain that everything is within normal limits.

I have diagnosed with positive TMT and also positive STRESS THALLIUM test. angiography is done and found that left artery is 100% block, the rest two are fine. One Dr. suggests that STUNTING can be done, while the other senior cadriologist Dr. said that only by pass is the option, kindly suggest and guide.
As per my understanding, your TMT and STRESS THALLIUM are positive, and the coronary angiogram also shows that your lad is 100% block. Lad is a very important artery, so the right option for you is to take a second opinion. Since you are having two diverse opinions regarding the same, to confirm what exactly should be done, only on clinical examination of the patient, patients general condition associated comorbidities and evaluating all the reports the cardiologist will be able to guide correctly. A longer than normal QT interval often shows up on an ECG. This could mean heart rhythms aren't normal. You might feel dizzy, pass out, or have pounding heartbeats. Hello, I have been having pain in my right shoulder and in my chest around my heart area, but when I take my prescribed medication for my heart. It doesn't alleviate the pain. I had a massive heart attack back in 2011 and I currently have a defibrillator, so now I take Aspirin, Lisenapril and a couple of other meds, but I notice that I still have pain on my left side which makes it kinda hard to breathe. I work as a dishwasher and I don't do a lot of heavy lifting, so I don't know what it could be. I can barely lift my arm because of it. Please help!
