Why do I have red patches all over body?

My mother has developed red patches on skin all over her body. Initially it occurs as a small red patch and then it widens and spreads . These red patches have occurred on her neck, breast, tummy, legs, head, back, elbow , everywhere. She has also developed cuts on her finger. It itches and burns very much. What is the diagnosis of this skin disease?

Your description of the symptoms leads me to believe that your mother has a skin condition called eczema. Eczema is characterized by the appearance of red, itchy patches on the skin. It can be caused or aggravated by certain substances or environmental factors. To alleviate the symptoms, it is necessary to maintain the skin's hydration and avoid irritants. Using mild soaps and wearing comfortable, breathable clothes can also be helpful.

Psoriasis solution 4 year old

Male | 26

Psoriasis happens when the skin turns red, with patches and itching. Scales on the skin look silvery. Not catching – you won't spread it. In kids, Psoriasis may come from stress or family history. Manage Psoriasis by moisturizing skin with creams. Don't scratch skin. Use gentle soap. Sometimes, doctors give special lotions for Psoriasis.

It is advisable to see a dermatologist for a rash on your penis. They focus on diagnosing and treating skin diseases. I suggest going to a doctor to find out the cause of a rash and receive effective treatment.

I have been for four years keratosis pilaris How can I fix the skin problem?

Female | 20

Chicken skin is a condition where your skin feels bumpy, and rough, like sandpaper. Keratin buildup blocks hair follicles, causing this. Using mild cleansers helps. Moisturize often. Gentle exfoliation smooths bumps. Lactic acid or urea products reduce roughness. It's common but usually improves gradually.

Age-41yrs. From last 3 years suffering from a black patch all around my lips, specially below the lips on both sides. I had visited a doctor there who detected the problem to be Perical pig / Melasma Pg as written in the prescription. Treated me with the following medicines For the 1st month- Cetaphil gentle cleanser, Flutivate E cream alternate night and Kojic cream once in a day. Next visit I was advised to use Kojiglo cream once daily, Eukroma+Flutivate E cream on the patches twice a week. But I did not find any difference. I had informed the doctor that I cannot afford a very costly treatment, but on her assurance during my third visit I was applied Glycocil pack but yet felt no difference. Then was asked to use Dermadew Caloe lotion every day and Azideenz 10% gel once a day, this gel made my skin rough, when complained she advised me to use only Dermadew lotion day and night daily. My face is 2 to 3 shades darker than my body color. What to do now to get rid of this patch

Female | 41

Without a proper evaluation and diagnosis, I can't say. But normally, suggested treatments for perical pigmentation include topical medications and laser treatments and I do not recommend flutivate cream for pigmentation. However, based on your individual condition, the doctor will recommend the best treatment for you.

Suggest me supplements for skin whitening. Means body complextion

Female | 22

If you are seeking supplements to make your skin brighter, you might find vitamin C and collagen a good option. Vitamin C may balance the skin tone and accelerate collagen growth which results in the skin being more luminous. Collagen is key to keeping your skin strong and smooth. However, don't forget that supplements are most efficient when accompanied by a healthy lifestyle characterized by drinking lots of water and eating plenty of fruits and veggies.

Skin allergy back side ,leg

Male | 27

The numerous factors that lead to skin allergies on the backside and legs include irritants, allergenic agents, infection or autoimmune disorders. It is necessary to consult a dermatologist that will conduct sufficiently comprehensive evaluation and suggest adequate options for treatment. Self-diagnosis and self treatment can make the situation only worse complicating it.

Can I take omniclav 625 and oflox oz tablets in gap of one hour

Female | 30

Have in mind that Omniclav 625 and Oflox oz are antibiotics. The accurate methods to use it are necessarily by doctor's prescription. Waiting 1 hour before taking the other may not be the best idea. You should take care of following the directions to their specified methods of administration.

Hi I am taking esomeprazole, lipitor, lisinopril, citalopram and ropinerole. I want to know if it it safe to take anti sweat tablets. Thank you

Female | 59

Sweating is your body's natural way to cool down. Certain medications can increase sweat production as a side effect or be symptoms of underlying medical conditions. Anti-sweat tablets reduce sweat secretion but may interact with your current medications. It's crucial to consult your doctor for a safe solution. They can adjust your medications or suggest alternative treatments to address the root cause of your sweating. Always communicate openly with your doctor about any concerns or changes in your medication regimen to ensure your health is prioritized.
