What effective treatment options are available for persistent green vaginal discharge caused by E. coli infection that has not responded to doxycycline, metronidazole, and clotrimazole vaginal suppositories?

Female | 30

If you have had green vaginal discharge for a year and an hvs test shows an E. coli infection, consult your doctor for appropriate treatment. Antibiotics are used normally, but if the prescribed medication hasn't been effective, your doctor will make further evaluation and adjustments accordingly.

Hi good day .. my last period was Jan 26th 2024, I usually get my period every 27-28 days, so I’m late and now I’ve been spotting these past few days.. brown spots to be exact, which I saw online that is sometimes implantation bleeding.. is that possible? I also took a test on Thursday and it said negative.. is it possible that’s a false negative

Female | 27

A brown spotting might be a sign of implantation bleeding, but it is hard to definitively identify without a medical examination. Please talk to your gynecologist

I am facing yeast infection first time. Do I take one fluconazole tablet per day or a tablet in 3 days

Female | 20

Yeast infections are quite common. They occur when your body has too much yeast. This imbalance can result in itching, burning, and strange discharge. If it's your first time experiencing a yeast infection, the typical treatment is one fluconazole pill taken in a single day. Fluconazole kills the fungus responsible for the infection. However, you must follow the medication instructions precisely.

Why did i get my period 7 days after my withdrawal bleeding stopped

Female | 20

The menstrual cycle has many factors, including hormones . If hormone levels fluctuate, periods can start early or late. Stress, weight changes, and medications can all affect hormones . It's also possible to have irregular periods without any clear cause . If you're concerned, speak with a HEALTHCARE provider. .

Got inflammation results in pap smear but not at all cancerous, then is it recommended to go for HPV vaccination

Female | 41

the best advice I can give you is to follow your gynecologist's instructions. You have to keep monitoring inflammation through regular clinic visits and your doctor should always be consulted in case of any abnormalities. Even though the inflammation itself may not be cancerous, it could still be the product of HPV, which, in turn, is linked to cancer. In case you have not yet received the HPV vaccine, you may suggest taking it as a preventative measure.

Hi I have syphilis for 4 years and get treated but I still test positive and some symptoms

Male | 43

If you have been treated for syphilis but are still testing positive and experience certain symptoms, follow up with your gynecologist. May be the infection has not been fully treated and hence the symptoms are showing up. Additional testing and treatment would be necessary to manage your symptoms and prevent other complications.
