You might have a problem with BV. In this case, when there is a loss of balance between positive and negative bacteria in your vagina, it causes the said symptoms. To help, instead of using chemically scented soap in the infected area, you can use mild soap, wear loose cotton underwear, and avoid douching. If the symptoms worsen, seeking a gynecologist for additional advice is highly recommended to ensure you get the right care.

I had unprotected sex on 7th February and had ipill later. Afterwards I got my period on 19th February. I had protected sex on 26th February and again on 11 March. I am 2 days late
Female | 22
Being slightly late for your period isn't abnormal, especially during stressful times or bodily adjustments. The unprotected sexual encounter on February 7th, followed by taking emergency contraception, could impact your cycle. That might explain your delayed period. Remember, stress, diet modifications, and illness can also affect menstruation. If you're still worried, a home pregnancy test can offer clarity.

Hi actually my period is off 17 December was date but I took emergency pill one times and took Famicom 2 days now what I do
Female | 30
Not every time you should be worried when you feel your cycle being delayed is explained by emergency contraception, most of the time it's normal. The hormonal fluctuations that can occur in your menstrual cycle are directly linked to the emergency contraceptive pill. These are some of the common side effects due to the application of progesterone. The natural result of the body's adjustment is to monitor it and leave it alone simply. Consult a gynecologist if you don't get your period any time soon, or if you feel intense pain.

Sir, i just want to know that is there any chances of pregnancy if we used condom which didn't break or leak. We had sex after 8 days of cycle
Female | 23
If you used a condom that didn't break or leak and you had sex on the 8th day of your cycle, there is a low chance of getting pregnant. It's usually difficult to conceive at such times in the menstrual calendar. However, remember that no contraceptive is entirely foolproof although using it correctly reduces the risk significantly. If there are any unusual signs or symptoms, it may be a good idea to do a pregnancy test to be sure.

A period that last 1 or 2 days is it normal
Female | 24
Having periods lasting merely 1 or 2 days isn't typical. However, stress, hormonal shifts, extreme weight loss - these factors can cause it. If your periods usually run longer but suddenly turn brief, take note. Relax, eat well. If this continues, consult a gynecologist.

You are having symptoms of menopause. After uterus surgeries, some women may experience sudden heat sensations, sweating, and body warmth. In this case, it is normal and occurs due to hormonal changes. To feel better, try wearing loose, breathable clothes and stay cool. I want to ask about my periods
Female | 20
Menstruation is a natural process that happens when the lining of the uterus is purged every month. At the same time, though, if you have unusually heavy bleeding or cramps that make your regular activities difficult, it is advisable to see a doctor. I recommend that you see a gynecologist, who is a specialist who deals with women's reproductive health issues.

I have taken unwanted kit yesterday. But still bleeding have not started... What should I do??
Female | 39
Don't worry if you took the Kit but bleeding hasn't started yet. It can take time for the medicine to work, so be patient. Sometimes a few days pass before bleeding begins. Follow the instructions carefully. Contact a gynecologist if you're worried or if bleeding doesn't start after several days.

After taking the i-pill on May 7th following unprotected intercourse, a delay in your period can occur due to the pill's hormonal effects. To address concerns, take a pregnancy test if your period is overdue.

My fiance and I had unprotected intercourse 12 days back her expected period date was 1 November according to last month but her periods didn't arrive yet so what should we do?
Female | 22
It could be because of several factors that include stress, change in weight or hormonal disturbances if your fiancée has missed her menstrual cycle. But the main reason is pregnancy. A test should be conducted to determine whether she is pregnant or not. Further assessment and treatment should be discussed with a gynecologist.

I had protected sex on april four days after my period. The next month was period was a day late so i had one full papaya and ginger tea with other spice and jaggery and exercised a lot. My period arrived but was comparatively light normal clots and heavy cramps. Is there any possibility am pregnant
Female | 20
It's not probable for you to be pregnant if your menstrual cycle arrived even if it was a little different than usual. At times, periods may be lighter or heavier due to factors such as stress or dietary changes. Cramps and clots are also normal occurrences during menstruation. However, if you’re still concerned about being pregnant, take a pregnancy test.

can girl get pregnant after 1st sex?
Male | 27
A girl can get pregnant, if she ovulates and his semen penetrates her. Birth control needs to be used to avoid unplanned pregnancies and stop the spread of STIs. Consult a gynecologist or a sexual health expert if you have any issues or queries about your sexual health.

My period late by 3 days I want know what is reason
Female | 23
A delay in your cycle can happen for various reasons, including stress, changes in weight, hormonal imbalances, or lifestyle factors. Common signs to watch for include breast tenderness, mood changes, or abdominal discomfort. It's often temporary and resolves itself. To support your well-being, maintain a balanced diet, manage stress, and stay active. If your period remains absent or if you have other concerning symptoms, I recommend scheduling a visit with your gynecologist. They can provide personalized guidance and ensure everything is well.

I last had my period on January 4, 2025, but it's now February 21 and I still haven't gotten my next period. This isn't the first time I've experienced irregular periods. In November 2023, my periods stopped for a while before resuming. Throughout 2024, I practiced yoga and drank herbal teas like ginger, turmeric, and cinnamon to help regulate my cycle. Despite these efforts, my periods remained irregular. Now, I'm 19 days late. What could be the reason for this delay, and what should I do?"
Female | 26
It's not uncommon to experience irregular menstrual cycles, especially at your age. Several factors could contribute to this delay, including stress, hormonal imbalances, weight changes, or underlying health issues. Your lifestyle choices, like yoga and herbal teas, may help, but they might not be enough to regulate your cycle completely. I recommend taking a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. Regardless of the outcome, considering a visit with a gynecologist would be beneficial. They can offer guidance tailored to your situation and help identify any underlying causes for your irregular periods.

Female | 37
You're experiencing unusual changes in your menstruation, such as two days of bleeding followed by spotting after 14 days, which isn't normal. Cramping, headaches, feeling hot, and fatigue could be due to hormonal imbalances or other issues. Stay hydrated, eat healthily, and manage stress. It's important to see a gynecologist to discuss your symptoms and get the right treatment.

It has been three days that i missed my period and I am worried. Can it be because i am applying a steroid cream on my face for pigmentation? can you please help or suggest something
Female | 36
Applying steroid cream to your face could potentially interfere with your menstrual cycle's regularity. Steroids possess the capacity to disrupt hormonal balance. For now, discontinue the cream's usage temporarily to observe if your cycle resumes normally. However, if your period fails to return, seek help from a gynecologist.

I had what can be classified as unprotected sex on 27th August (this is because I was experiencing diarrhea which reduced my regular combined pill efficiency and protection). Partner pulled out twice, we shower in between and clean. I took emergency contraception within 24 hours (brand: andalan postpil) and had one last diarrhea nearly 3 hours later (a bit less I think) after taking the pill. Would the emergency contraception be effective (I also have BMI of 30.5) or do I need to take another emergency pill?
Female | 22
Taking the emergency contraception pill is a very effective way of preventing pregnancy. Apart from that, you took the emergency pill which was the right move, and you experienced diarrhea, which can lower the effectiveness of the pill. Pay attention to any unusual symptoms and if you are worried, it is always better to consult a gynecologist.
