The reason why your period is late may be the morning after pill. It can disrupt your cycle and change the nature of vaginal discharge. Other things that can interfere with your menstruation are anxiety and hormone fluctuations. In case the period doesn’t start, it’s better to visit a gynecologist and ensure everything is alright.

I am 15 years old female. My periods just ended yesterday and just after that I've been experiencing watery discharge accompanied with itching and some swelling in left labia minora
Female | 15
You might be suffering from a vaginal yeast infection. Developments can take place in women who have such conditions, even in the days following the period. They are defined by the secretion of non-fatty material, unpleasant sensations of the vagina, and the small labia swelling. To relieve the infection use over-the-counter creams for yeast. Don't forget to keep the location clean and dry. Consult a gynecologist for proper treatment.

I got a Pap smear on Wednesday(06/05) and im still spotting(06/08) is that normal?
Female | 21
Bleeding a bit after a Pap smear is perfectly normal so don’t be scared. Your body may be a little sensitive from the test. The cervix can be touched with a swab and this may cause some spotting too. If the bleeding is light and goes away within a few days, there’s usually nothing to worry about. Be sure to drink lots of water and get some rest. If it’s heavy or lasts longer than a few days then contact a gynecologist.

I have one month pergency I want to terminate plzz suggest me how to misoprostol alone because mifepristone is not Available here
Female | 24
It’s important to know that terminating a pregnancy safely should always be supervised by a healthcare professional. While misoprostol can be used alone for this purpose, it's vital to understand the potential side effects, which can include cramping, bleeding, and nausea. Misoprostol is generally taken orally or inserted vaginally, but the correct dosage and method depend on individual circumstances. I strongly encourage you to consult a gynecologist to receive appropriate guidance tailored to your situation. They can ensure your health and safety throughout the process.

If I take 4 doses of emergency contraceptive on 4 consecutive days while having sex can ensure not getting pregnant, 4 weeks after a miscarriage
Female | 25
Taking multiple doses of emergency contraceptive pills is not recommended. Emergency contraceptives are designed to be taken immediately, not as a regular FORM of birth control.. Also, they are not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy, so it's important to use additional methods such as CONDOMS. It's best to speak with a healthcare provider to determine the safest and most effective form of birth control for you .

I would like some more information on ectopic pregnancy
Female | 19
A fertilized egg implanting and developing outside the uterus, often in the fallopian tubes, is a serious medical condition known as an ectopic pregnancy. In rare cases, it can occur in other areas like the ovary or abdominal cavity. As the pregnancy progresses, it can lead to pain, bleeding, and life-threatening complications for the woman. Ectopic pregnancies cannot reach full term and pose a significant risk to the woman's health. If not treated, they can cause the fallopian tube or the organ where the pregnancy is located to rupture, resulting in severe internal bleeding.

Female | 26
A missed period can be a symptom, but it is also possible due to stress or other reasons. She should take a home pregnancy test. In case she is pregnant, ingesting the Mifepristone kit without a doctor's supervision can prove to be dangerous. Consulting a gynecologist regarding the most secure route is the prudent course of action.

My opening vagina itch with white discharge
Female | 23
You might encounter a yeast infection. Yeast is a microorganism that can grow excessively and cause itching and white discharge in the vagina. It is because they have sometimes taken antibiotics or wear tight clothes. You can indeed use the over-the-counter cream for yeast infections. Hence, wearing cotton underwear and the absence of scented products near the vulva are among the best ways to help ladies prevent yeast infections in the future.

Female | 21
Stress, changes in the diet, or fasting sometimes can cause the delay of your period. Since your negative pregnancy test and the absence of any symptoms make the pregnancy case less likely, it's almost impossible for you to be pregnant. Just give it some more time. Do remember that you have to take care of yourself, eat well, and try to be relaxed. It's always good to talk to a gynecologist if your period still doesn't come, or if you have any concerns.

It's not a big deal if I lose lots of blood or if it lasts up to seven days. But there are times when I feel exhausted and get cramps, that’s because my body is adapting. I need to drink more water, eat enough food, and have some rest. Suppose this bleeding continues, then you should reach an adult whom you trust. They can take you to a gynecologist for further information.
