Oral contraceptives work best when taken regularly. Starting pills requires care - sex too soon raises pregnancy risk. Keep taking pills as directed for full protection. If problems or odd symptoms occur, talk to your gynecologist right away.

My periods got delayed by 6 days. Today I done beta HCG test but I was negative. Is there any chance to become pregnant?
Female | 27
Missed periods happen occasionally due to various factors. Stress, routine alterations, or hormonal imbalances may cause delays. The negative pregnancy test suggests you're likely not expecting. If bleeding doesn't start after a while, tracking menstrual cycles and consulting a gynecologist can provide insights.

I see red spot blood on my underwear so I assume its my period coming however I was expecting my period the 28/29 of this month i now see brown blood when i wipe I see pinkish blood i am aware of these blood at the beginning or end of a period but if its the beginning why is it not flowing cause now am not see anything and I am worried I don't know what to do i am stress and depressed
Female | 19
Periods sure can be puzzling sometimes. Those spots on your undies could mean it's starting. Brown or pinkish when you wipe often happens at the start or finish of your cycle. Stress can mess with timing too. Stay calm, note what's happening, and maybe chat with a gynecologist if you're unsure.

Hello I was recently diagnosed with PCOS/amenorrhea from my ultrasound. I am also overweight. They have prescribed be 5 days of provera and 3 months worth of drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol tablets (birth control) to help me menstruate again. My family does not want me to take medication or birth control again because of the side affects it has and the hormonal changes it has to my body Are those two medications the only way solution for me?
Female | 25
PCOS impacts periods, weight, and fertility. You skip periods in amenorrhea. Medications regulate your cycle. Nutritious food and workouts help symptoms. Discuss concerns with your gynecologist and derive a treatment plan.

My last period was on the 10th of October and I’m yet to see for the month of November
Female | 26
ASSUMING a 28 day cycle, your period is late. Stress and hormonal imbalances can cause this. Take a PREGNANCY test to be sure. If negative, wait a few more days and test again. If it remains negative, see your doctor... They will check for underlying conditions that can cause a missed period such as POLYCYSTIC ovary syndrome (PCOS) or THYROID issues...

Female | 23
its common to miss periods after stopping the pill for pcos.. HORMONAL imbalances cause irregular periods.. CONSULT a doctor if the absence of periods continues.. they may recommend MEDICATION or LIFESTYLE changes to regulate menstrual cycles..

Missed period and late for 13 days. No other symptoms than spotting a week before
Female | 22
Missed periods could indicate various possibilities, including pregnancy. Spotting a week before your expected period could be an early sign of pregnancy, but it's also important to consider other factors that might be causing the delay. Take a pregnancy test for confirmation

I am 19 years old boy and my girlfriend is 16 years old and we had unprotected sex after her period was just over and i give her ipill within 24 hour and after 30 days i suggest her to check pregnancy kit and result was negative but also she is not having period after 32 days. Is she pregnant or any kind of disease happen to her please suggest me sir ??? I am in big trouble…
Female | 16
It's good that my girlfriend took appropriate measures, taking the iPill and using the test kit to perform a pregnancy test. Just 32 days have passed after the negative test, but the period may be absent due to a couple of reasons, even if we exclude pregnancy. In particular, this can happen due to anxiety, hormonal flow, and diseases like Hypothyroidism or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. See a gynecologist if she doesn't get her period soon.

I took abortion pills on 8 November and my bleeding is continuing for 2 days and after it on 13 November i have again bleeding and today i have been blood clots in my bleeding. Is it normal or not?
Female | 24
It is a natural phenomenon for the body to produce blood and blood clots after using the tablets. No matter how many times the bleeding has stopped and restarted. The blood clots in your situation are just one of the usual symptoms. If you experience heavy bleeding (more than one pad per hour) or you get severe pain, you must visit a gynecologist for further treatment.

According to your sex and age there should be regular consultations with your gynecologist. They may give Pap smears for cervical cancer interventions - this can be very effective. Please inform your gynecologist if you discover any abnormal bleeding or pain in the pelvic area at your next visit.

I am suffering from bartholin cyst and now it's been a couple of months the cyst is not disappearing properly and it's become tiny in size and doesn't not causing any pain and irritating so is it severe should I be concern
Female | 22
Don't worry if your Bartholin cyst has shrunken and stopped aching. It indicates it's getting better. These cysts can persist but often resolve naturally. Keep the area clean and avoid excessive touching. However, if pain or growth resumes, consult a gynecologist.

I had my last period on the 3rd of last month. I have a 25-day cycle with 4 days of bleeding. I had sex on the 13th and I had a pill within one hour and then on the 15th of that month, I took a pill within one hour, just as a precaution. I started a light bleed on the 20th of that month until the 25th. The expected period date was 30 of the month. But, I still have not got it.
Female | 26
Based on the information you have provided, the pills you took on the 13th and 15th of last month may have affected your menstrual cycle. Contraceptive pills contain high levels of hormones that can disrupt your menstrual cycle and cause irregular bleeding. If you are concerned about a possible pregnancy, you can take a home pregnancy test to confirm. But wait at least a week after a missed period to take the test for accurate results or visit a gynecologist.

Good morning doctor Please, I’ve been super worried, I haven’t seen my period in 3months now. I did a profile test and discovered my prolactin levels were a little higher than normal so I was placed on a cabargoline drug for a month alongside ciprofloxasin but yet I haven’t seen my period still and I had a negative pregnancy test result. I did thyroid function test and it states everything is normal. Please, what is wrong with me? ?
Female | 23
Menstrual cycle can be disrupted by the higher levels of prolactin hormone that may lead to irregular periods or even missed periods. Cabergoline is administered to regulate the prolactin hormone secretion. But if you still have not regular periods even though you started taking this medicine, see a doctor again or you can take a second opinion

Meri shadi 25 oct ko hoi thi 31 oct ko mujh periods howy thy ab aaj 2 date h aur mujh Raat Sy periods ki halki halki pain ho rhi h lekin bleeding nhi ho rhi
Female | 20
Your menstruation cycle was due but you just feel pain no bleeding. It might be a sign of a condition called dysmenorrhea, which is a very common problem among women. The pain comes from the incomplete uterus contractions to help it separate from the lining. Heatable mats, warm bathing, or over-the-counter painkillers might be useful, but in case the pain is too high, consult a gynecologist.

Periods are accompanied by symptoms such as cramps, mood swings, and tiredness. Stress and hormonal imbalance can be the reason for the irregular menstrual cycle. You can postpone your period by taking hormonal birth control pills prescribed by your gynecologist. They will help to maintain your menstrual cycle in the desired way and to push the period for a specific day.
