Hello Abhay, As details given by you, it's been a year since your relative had an accident wherein he suffered from injury to his brain. It is definitely a serious injury which has lead to total paralysis and loss of speech over time. Recovery of the patient depends on his age, associated comorbidities (illness), and on the gravity of the injury. You need to consult a neurologist at a higher centre. He may need a team of doctors to evaluate this case. So please consult a neurologist first and then decide on treatment. Most important in your case is bedside care of the patient till you further decide on his treatment. Wish the patient a speedy recovery. Hope our answer helps you. My vitamin b12 levels are near about 200 ng/ml from 10 years although I am non vegetarian.currently i am on ssri from 1 year for anxiety and depression.now iam feeling muscle pain legs, numbness in fingers of hand sometimes very rare. It is due to anxiety issues or b/12 .

Male | 39

Insufficient vitamin B12 amounts can lead to muscle aches and numbness which will be considerably suffered in fingers and legs. If your symptoms are related to low B12 levels, it may still be the case that your meat-eating habits do not have any effect. The best way to handle this with your doctor is to ask them to check your B12 levels and determine whether you need treatment or supplements.

My 6 year old son has recently started some strange eye movements.

Male | 6

It sounds like your son might be experiencing an eye movement disorder, which could be a sign of a neurological issue. I recommend taking him to a pediatric neurologist as soon as possible to get a proper diagnosis and treatment.

I have epilepsy and are planning to pregnant.Have stop taking epilim for about 5 years cause when taking the medicine,my seizures occur often than when i stop taking it.Now my seizure occur around 5-6 times per years when i stop taking the medicine.

Female | 33

Epilepsy can be challenging at this time. It’s worrying that you have a few seizures each year. It may be a good idea to see a neurologist. They can help work out whether it’s safe for you to get pregnant while controlling your fitness. You need to strike the right balance for yourself and your unborn child too.

I was having a mild UTI infection for which I did a course of k ston, rotec and cefspan for 7 days. Now UTI symptoms have recovered but I feel numbness and pain in legs and feet. My body shakes and I feel weakness I can't bend my head as it feels my body is moving back and forth. Sometimes I also feel acidity, my head and neck hearts

Female | 21

You might be suffering from some adverse reactions to the medications you took for your UTI. Numbness, pain in legs and feet, body shaking, weakness, difficulty bending your head, acidity, and headache can be the side effects of the medicines. In cases like this, the medicines might not be suitable for your body. Make sure to tell your doctor about these symptoms for him to give you the right advice.
