Can you explain kidney stone treatments?
Hello sir, I want to know about kidney stone related treatment
General Physician
Answered on 23rd May '24
Kidney stones are painful hard bits that develop inside kidneys. They occur from lack of water intake and consuming excessive salt. Symptoms include severe pain below or back, bloody urine, feeling sick, and needing to pee frequently. To treat, drink abundant water. Take pain relievers. Sometimes surgery removes the stone. But it's better to prevent them through staying hydrated and limiting salt.

Hy maam , Iam facing serious issue please contact with mee thanks alot
Female | 24
Life is no crystal staircase, but "stairs" rose out of hardships often from previously denied histories. A wide range of health problems can come up such as headache, weakness, or discomfort which can be due to stress, bad sleep, or deficiency of one kind of nutrient or other. The essential thing is to address them using maintaining a suitable diet regime, consuming enough water, and practicing physical activities regularly. It, however, should not only be the only thing you know about the health condition and its treatment; you should also tell your family doctor frankly what you are going through for your doctor to be able to assess your situation accurately and to offer the best advice.

You might have a disease called cold urticaria, that can result in itching, and the development of hives when the skin comes into contact with cold temperatures. Please schedule an appointment with a dermatologist for definitive diagnosis and treatment. During this time, try to keep far from harsh temperature fluctuations and make sure your skin is covered in low temperatures.

My 5 year old son swallowed a coin. The x-ray shows that the position of the coin is not complicated and the child is not showing any kind of discomfort. within how many hours will the coin normally pass through the system? what should I do next?
Male | 5
If your child shows no signs of distress and the swallowed coin is in the simple position it should move on its own within 24-48 hours. But you should closely watch your symptoms, stools, and bowel movements during this period. You needs to refer to the pediatric gastroenterologist for further investigations and treatment.

Im 5 feet 7 inch tall and i want to gain at least 4 inchs is it possible
Male | 25
Gaining 4 inches in height after reaching adulthood is highly unlikely and practically impossible through natural means.. While there are surgical procedures like Limb lengthening that can increase height artificially, they are highly invasive, expensive, and carry significant risks, making them an unsuitable option for most people. Moreover, 4 inches of heught increase cannot be gauranteed.

A dog scratched me two months ago .will I be affected with rabies?
Female | 20
Although a dog's scratch seems small, rabies worry is natural. However, if two months passed after the incident, the chances are low. Rabies brings fever, headaches, and anxiety – signs caused by the virus in animal saliva. Still, discussing with a doctor eases concerns.

A strange lady hugged me and she has tb would I get infected . I had my mask on and I'm so worried
Female | 22
If you were wearing a mask, it's good protection. TB is not as simple as that which is particularly followed by a brief hug. Coughing, chest pain, weight loss, and fever are the main symptoms. It spreads through the air, thus, masking is the smart thing to do.

I have dog Scratch taken 3 rabies vaccine in Arms and last dose of 1 rabies vaccine in buttocks will it be effective, also 4 years ago I have taken my all 4 doses of rabies vaccine from dog bite.
Male | 16
Receiving the vaccine first in your arm and then in your buttocks remains effective at preventing rabies. Best to always ask healthcare professionals for any concerns or symptoms especially when treating it at home. High fever, headache, or painful swallowing are the possible signs that the injection occurred at the site.
