I was bitten by a dog and got vaccinated after near about 30 hours a bit late doctor told there will be 4 more doses of vaccines one after 3 days one on 7th day one on 14th day and one on 28th day I was busy these days so I got no time to get vaccinated so I going today after 1 week to get vaccinated can you please tell me am I in risk or everything’s fine If I get vaccinated.
Male | 18
If bitten by a dog, crucial to follow the vaccine schedule. Although doses were missed, getting vaccinated late surpasses not getting it. Still vital is the completion of doses to prevent rabies. Delayed dosing slightly raises infection risk, but late vaccination wins over none.

Male | 28
Yes, buprenorphine can be found in blood tests. But it depends on the type of test your employer will be conducting with you. You have to inform your employer about the medications you may be taking. When it comes to questions concerning the nature of the test, it is advisable to reach out to a medical practitioner for clarifications, a psychiatrist or an addiction specialist being the best.

Hi my baby is having very high fever and severe cough for past 3 days, And then as per the pediatrician we have given few test like CBC, URINE ROUTINE, DENGUE, MALARIA, CRC test and then on seeing the report doctor says that nothing to worry. And then he started with antibiotics augmentin dds suspension , Lenovil and calpol for 5 days, and still fever was not reduced since 3 days over. And yesterday again I visisted the doctor and they said to give Anti-Flu syrup, if the temperature goes at 103 degree. I am so tensed and worried. My Doubt is we have to give anti-flu only if the temperature is at 103 or we can give now. I am more tensed and worried as she is 3 years old.
Female | 3
Follow the doctor's advice and administer the Anti-Flu syrup only if the temperature reaches 103 degrees. Inform your doctor if you find any othe symptoms and keep monitoring your baby's fever ensure they are well-hydrated.

My mother age 53 yrs she suffering chills, and feaver last 2 hours how to take precaution that cure's
Male | 35
Infections are fought by the body when it has chills and a fever. Let her know to keep warm by drinking lots of water and resting with blankets while taking acetaminophen if she has a temperature. If more than 24 hours pass without relief or other symptoms show up, make sure that she gets checked out by someone who works in healthcare.

Can I take the tacky and Benadryl together
Female | 18
Don't take Tums and Benadryl together. Tums can help with heartburn or other stomach problems, while Benadryl might be used for itching caused by allergies. However, if both drugs are taken simultaneously it may result in side effects such as dizziness, sleepiness and confusion. For better performance without health risks ensure they have been taken few hours apart.

can we take a alcohol after taking a TT injection, if not how much time we need to wait
Male | 33
Getting a TT injection means you should avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Consuming alcohol immediately after could lead to increased soreness where you received the injection. It may also reduce how effective the vaccine is.

Eat smaller portions frequently instead of heavy meals.

I am a 15 year old boy and recently found a little ball in front of my left testicle. Is it normal?
Male | 15
It seems like you might have an enlarged lymph node, which can be similar to a small egg in front of your left testicle. This is possibly caused by infections or inflammation in the area. Do not touch it too much. Take it easy and get it checked by a urologist immediately.

Hi. I am 28 years old male.. I have an issue which is giving me sleepless night. I had sexual intercourse with am old friend of mine (without using protection). 1 week after having sex with her, I start to feel sore throat, slight headache which later lead to swollen lymph nodes ( i have a slight Difficulty in breathing after having the lymph nodes) but no fever and rash. Went for test but i was HIV negative (the test was not up to 2 weeks after having all this symptoms). What can be the cause?
Male | 28
The symptoms you mentioned such as a sore throat, headache, and swollen glands can be signs of many things, not just HIV. It’s great that you took the test and even better that it came back negative. These signs are sometimes caused by an attack of virus or bacteria. It would be best if you went to see a doctor or other healthcare provider who will give you a proper diagnosis and prescribe medication for treatment.

How long will 3 mg melatonin keep me asleep
Female | 23
melatonin should be seen as facilitating sleep rather than as an inducing sleep medication. The result is not the same for everyone who is using 3 mg of melatonin, and there is no guarantee that they will be able to stay asleep after taking the dosage. For sleep-related diseases, always consult a sleep specialist.
